When entered the building, it seemed to be empty, so she headed upstairs to her and Allison's room and found the luggage open and unpacked again. She frowned in confusion, remembering that today was the day that the two were supposed to leave.
Just then, she heard the floorboard creak and turned around to see Allison, crossing her arms against her chest, putting on a motherly facade, more than her own mother ever had, "And where have you been?"
"Solving mysteries," Starr shrugged. "Missing eyes."
Allison raised an eyebrow, "Missing eyes?"
Starr's eyes widened, pondering in her mind if she should tell Allison about the whole end of the world in eight days thing or not, but then she remembered that she just got divorced and is trying to see her daughter, so she'll give her one less thing to worry about. She sighed and said, "Um... never mind — wait, what have you been up to?"
Just like she had, Allison's eyes widened, "Um... okay," Allison said and sat down on the bed, with Starr sitting next to her, "Well, Luther and I—"
"Sister kisser?"
Allison rolled her eyes, "Yes... that. Anyway, we think our mom might have something to do with dad's death."
Starr's eyes widened again, "Whoa! For real? But she seemed so nice," a frown formed on her features, "and she actually knew how to cook good food."
"Tell that to detective Luther," Allison sighed, but then an offended look formed on her features. "Hey! I'm not that bad at cooking!"
"Denial is a river in Egypt— rumor me all you want, but you know I'm right," Starr said, putting a finger up. "So how long are we staying in this weird place?"
Allison shrugged, "I'm not sure," then a smirk formed on her features, "But hey, you and Five seem to be getting along, so maybe it's good we stay longer."
Starr grimaced, playfully hitting Allison in the arm and the two shared a chuckle after Allison retaliated by throwing a pillow at her, "You're disgusting!"
"Am I wrong?" Allison questioned, getting an eye roll from Starr.

THE FIRST LIGHT OF DAWN SLIPPED THROUGH peered through the curtains of Allison and Starr's room. When the light hit her face it caused Starr to flicker her eyes open. As Starr sat up, she let out a yawn and noticed Allison wasn't in the room anymore — presumably investigating Grace with Luther. Since she was already up, Starr just decided to head downstairs and go to the kitchen, hoping Grace would be there so she could have some of her eggs.
She knows Grace is prime suspect right now, but if she can cook up a murder plot, she can cook up breakfast. Just before she could head downstairs, but then she heard something from outside the window.
Starr opened the window and found Klaus dumpster diving and frowned in confusion, "Klaus? What are you doing?"
He jumped up with trash falling off him and turned around, looking up at her, "Well, Sarah—"
"At this point..." Starr sighed.
"Anyway, Pogo's pissed 'cause I kinda maybe lost something important to dear old dad," Klaus sighed. "Hence why I'm in a dumpster."
Starr deadpanned, "Why am I not surprised?"
Then, Five came down from the fire escape on the other window across from Starr with a bag, "Well, I'd ask what you're doing Klaus, but then it occurred to me that I don't care."
Starr raised an eyebrow, turning her head, "What's with the bag?"
"Super secret spy stuff," Five shrugged.
"Ooh! Hold on — this is Kim Possible type shit—"
"That I'm doing alone," Five cut her off.
"Hey, you know there are easier ways out of the house, buddy."
"This one involved the least amount of talking," Five replied as he got down. "Or so I thought."
Klaus got a bottle of alcohol and turned to Five, leaning on the other side of the dumpster, "Hey, so you need anymore company? I could, uh... clear my schedule."
"Looks like you've got your hands full," Five said.
Klaus glanced back at the bottle then up at the two, "Oh this? No, no. I can do this whenever," before he could finish, Klaus slipped and fell back into the dumpster with trash clattering around him. "I just misplaced something," he said standing up. "That's all."
When he got back up he had a half eaten thrown away donut in his hand, "Found it! Thank God!"
From the window, Starr squinted her eyes and Five rolled his, "I'm done funding your drug habit."
"Come on! You don't —" Klaus sighed. "Maybe I just wanna hang out with my brother."
"¡Mi Hermano!" Klaus said in Spanish. "I love you! Even if you can't love yourself!"
