You have to accept your intuition. Sherlock summarizes his thoughts and stores them all in a place he calls his 'mind palace'. His mind palace holds anything and everything he knows. You have to categorize everything you know and store it in your mind.
Holmes' philosophy is ' It was easier to know it than explain why I know it. If you were asked to prove that two and two made four, you might have some difficulty, even though you are quite sure of the fact.'
Back to our mind palace... If you watch the BBC show Sherlock, then you know what Sherlock's mind palace looks like. Everything he could possibly know, swirling around in circles. He chooses what he needs and then the mind palace disappears. It is a very useful tool. Try to find your mind palace, that is step one of your Sherlock mind change.
