Vada and her family had went back to King's Landing for Aegon and Helaena's wedding, Vada was excited to be the one to help Helaena get ready, she hadn't seen her since Driftmark. Vada had sat on the ship reading while her brothers bother each other. Once they reached the keep Vada quickly made her way to her chambers and unpacked her stuff, she was only staying there for 2 days so she didn't pack too much. She had put on a blue dress and put half of her hair into a braided bun with the rest of it down. She had waited a couple hours until it was time for her to help Helaena with her wedding dress.

Once it was finally time Vada made her way to Helaena's chambers, "My sweet aunt." Vada said as she walked into her chambers, "Vada, hi." Helaena said softly, "The dress is beautiful." Vada said, looking at the stunning red dress on the bed, "Are you ready?" Vada asked as she picked up the dress and started undressing Helaena, "I guess.", "I would rather go on Dragonback with you and explore across the seven kingdoms." Helaena said looking at her niece in the mirror, "Helaena, it is your wedding day, I know Aegon isn't of your choosing and i'm sorry for you but we both know that we'll never be able to runaway together, no matter how much either of us wishes it." Vada said in a sad tone, "You look beautiful." She said looking at her aunt smiling, as she put her head on Helaena's shoulder. They intertwined fingers but were soon interrupted by Alicent, "It is time, my dear." She said, Vada let go of her aunt and lead her to her mother, Vada went to go seek her own family in their chambers.

The ceremony soon began, Vada sat next to her brothers and Rhaenyra, Daemon, Baela and Rhaena sat on the opposite side of them. "We are here to join two hearts, as one." A sept said, "I am hers, til the ends of my days." Aegon said with obvious tiredness in his voice, "I am his, til the end of my days." Helaena said with tears filling her eyes, neither of the Targaryen siblings wanted this, Aegon wanted to sail away on a ship and never be found, Helaena wanted to explore with Vada and discover new insects, but none of it will happen. The feast went well, Rhaenyra and her children sat on the opposite side of Alicent and her children, "Who are you looking for?" Jace asked his sister, "No one." Vada replied, "You're a terrible liar." Luke chimed in, "Whatever it's not important." Vada said, "If this is about Daeron, he isn't here, and you've avoided him for like 3 years." Jace said quietly to Vada, "It isn't just leave me alone." Vada whispered back, "Fine." Jace said.

The Velaryon children had to leave the day after Helaena and Aegon's wedding, Vada wanted to spend a few minutes with her aunt because she had already finished packing the night before. She made her way to Helaena's chambers and knocked on the door 3 times, "Vada. Hi." Helaena said softly, "Hello Helaena, would you like to walk with me." st toýa Vada asked, "Of course I would." Helaena said smiling. The two girls intertwined hands and started walking around the keep, "You know, about what you said yesterday." Vada started saying, "Oh, what about it?" Helaena replied, "I wish we could, and maybe we can." Vada said smirking, "What? Really?" Helaena said in a confused but excited tone. "Well maybe, once we can get out of this place, we could travel where ever we want." Vada said looking at Helaena with soft eyes, Vada gave her a small kiss on her cheek, "Now come, our mother's are probably looking for us, and I have to go back to DragonStone." Vada said cupping Helaena's cheeks, "Okay." Helaena said softly.

Hours passed and it was finally time for Rhaenyra and her children to leave King's Landing once again, "I'll miss you." Vada said walking to Helaena, "I'll miss you too." Helaena said with tears filling her eyes, "Promise you'll write to me." Helaena said with an intense stare, "I promise." Vada said back, "I love you Vada." Helaena said, "I love you too, Helaena." Vada said with a sad smile on her face, they gave each other one final hug, then Vada had left.
