MS ELSHER'S BLACK heels creates the sound of a clicking you wouldn't want to hear at night time. It was disruptive, and Levi was surprised that no one else in the crowd seemed to be bothered by it.
"Mr Yoon, your tie?"
Ms Elsher's excruciating high pitched voice echoed in the halls as they made it down to the next classroom.
"Sorry, Ms."
He wasn't sorry, in fact he was glad he didn't have his tie. This school uniform was better than others, with the black and all, but it sure was bothering.
"Your pants need to be ironed, too."
"Sorry, Ms."
That one, he was sorry for. His parents couldn't give a shit about his uniform, which is why they didn't care what Levi did with it. He could burn it and they wouldn't care. Well, unless he got kicked out of the Academy or the fire burnt the house down.
Next to Levi, a girl with silky black hair merely an inch smaller than him giggles before adjusting her own pants. As her mouth opens, he can see her sharp fangs. Another vampire, shocking. Most of the students here were vampires.
"What's so funny, Miss Izumi?
Izumi. Levi had heard of that name before. He was looking at the Naomi Izumi, the golden child of the Izumi family.
"Nothing, Ms. I was coughing," Naomi lies, giving a small shrug before glancing at Levi.
"Don't lie," Ms Elsher glares, her eyes narrowing before she adjusts her glasses, her hands loosening around her clipboard, "I'm a mind reader."
Shit, Levi had forgotten about that.
"Cool!" Selena chirps, along with a few students including Kaveh, Evelyn and Everett giving awestruck faces.
"And no, Cameron, I do not just wear black," Ms Elsher shoots daggers towards a blonde boy who seems to be zoned out.
Ms Elsher turns around before continuing to walk, the rest of the class following suit. Naomi gently nudges Levi's ribcage with her elbow, "You're Levi Yoon? I've heard about you."
"Everyone has," is all Levi replied with before walking off with the rest of the group.
