Crazed Bass

Things had gone relatively slow the last couple of days since Avalon and Reed had arrived. The mood had lightened significantly since Bloody was mellowed out due to Reeds constant presence. 

A bid had been made, Light and Claw made the side of not dating by the end of the month, Firerage and Caos believed they would be together by the end of the week, and Melody stood firmly alongside Avalon as they twitched at the sight of Reed hugging Bloody.....(#Bleed....)

"Hey Claw, is it alright if i meet up with a friend form back home..?"Melody said one day, her usual cheery mood gone, and in its place was a somber, and edgy one.

"Sure, you be careful kid." Claw said, her always seemingly tired gaze soft as she took in Melody's state.

Melody nodded, and soon took off, her shoulders tense.

"What up with little chatterbox?"Reed said, as he wrapped arms around Bloody's shoulders.

"She seemed tense,so maybe i should follow her?"Bloody answered as she leaned back against him.

"Nah, you should stay with me instead. Avalon went off in her hunt for the new member in the town we stopped by yesterday, and everyone else seems to have the day off. Even Light is just hanging out with Claw, planning the next move."Reed said, his voice dripping with need.

Bloody quickly poked Reed's jaw and caused him to let her go, but not before planting a little kiss on her temple. She smiled beneath her mask, and walked off towards Light.

(...Melody is a good kid, and she can care for herself...)Bloody said as she patted Lights shoulder, and nodded at Claw.

The hours dragged by , and Melody hadn't come back yet. Worry ate at her, and the others also had worried expressions.

Caos and Firerage had come back from a hunt, loaded with rabbits, and even then Melody failed to appear.

Darkness came upon them, Avalon had already taken her spot next to Light, and everyone stood around waiting for Bloody to run off.

"I can't take this anymore, i have to go."Bloody then said, her eyes distraught.

"Hey....Whats going on guys...?"Melody said, appearing besides  a startled Reed.

Everyone turned and a small gasp was heard from Light as they took in the friend Melody had gone to look for.

He was almost as tall as Reed, with friendly brown eyes, and a lovely smile. His short black hair curled nicely around his ears, and his style screamed crazy rocker.

"Hey!" He quickly said, as his eyes swept across the small crowd, and landed on Light and her now fiercely charged blonde hair.

Bloody suddenly appeared before the guy, blocking Light from his view, her mask drawn lower on her chin, causing him to cringe away and almost crab walk behind Melody.

"He is a total sweetheart Bloody, don't eat him alright? His name is Elijia!"Melody said, her cheery mood returned as she danced around Bloody.

Bloody simply grumbled and felt Reed put a protective hand at the small of her back, all the while keeping an eye on the new guy.

Caos laughed quietly as he walked over to see the new addition to the happy parade of freaks as he liked to dub it.

"Hey, whats up man?"Caos said, standing freakishly taller than Elijia.

"Uh... N-Not much..."Elijia quietly said more to himself than to the grinning freak.

"Hey guys leave him alone, I would be rich if i was paid all the times we freaked people out... Bloody here wins top money in the towns farther east..."Light said, her voice clear and friendly, but it turned dark as she swept her eyes over Bloody and Caos.

Bloody and Caos scuttled off, Reed followed Bloody as she grumbled to herself.

As Light went about cooking dinner, Melody and Avalon helped Elijia set up shop between Caos and Reeds tents.

Dinner passed around with easy conversations, and small accidents from a  flustered Elijia since Light and him were sitting close, knees touching to Bloody's apparent dismay.

She would send death glares at Elijia, causing him to get wide eyed, and Reed to laugh quietly, sending shivers down her spine. He had decided to sit behind her, his legs wrapped around her waist, her legs crossed as she leaned back onto his stomach.

"Still hungry...?"Reed asked as Bloody placed her plate of rabbit leg to the side.

Bloody was about to answer when she felt something poke her back, and move slightly lower.

A deep blush hit her, and she turned to see a sheepishly grinning Reed, poking Bloody with a rabbit leg.

"Really...?"Bloody sighed, her blush slightly calming down.

"Oh, you would have liked something more...? Something bigger?"Reed whispered into her hair, causing her to smile.

When Bloody looked up,she saw everyone looking at them, and they had all heard their little moment. Even Melody seemed to blush and giggle loudly, Avalon grinned and looker away.

"LOOK.AWAY.FREAKS."Bloody loudly said, her eyes dark as she lifted herself off Reed, who had pulled her into his lap.

Everyone coughed loudly and laughed as the two split up, Bloody going to sit with Light and Elijia, much to his dismay.

After dinner everyone said their good nights, and soon it was only Bloody, resting in her tree, Reed laying next to her on another branch, and Light, flustered as she talked with Elijia for hours on end.

Bloody muttered and saw quick movements from the clearing....

...Elijia was holding Light.. and kissing her deeply...

~Lights P.O.V~

"So whats it like being able to control sound...?"Light asked, thought in her ind she had more burning questions...

"Its like being able to shape everything around you into music... Your heartbeat right now is in sync with mine... Do you want to hear them..?"Elijia tentatively asked, coming closer.

Light let a blush rise heavily upon her pale skin, her eyes widened, and a small smile was splayed onto her red lips.

 Elijia leaned in, and Light felt her heart flutter, as he leaned in closer, his soft curly hair brushed her nose, and caused her to giggle. 

And he then leaned in for a kiss.
