2 weeks Later, Friday

Ricky was beyond frustrated with Gyuvin. Ever since Ricky confronted Hao and made a deal about trying to get Gyu to confess to him, he's taken Hao's advice of trying to express his "wanting" for the boy. Ricky genuinely thought the constant flirting, frequent touches, and daily hangouts would have pushed Gyu into rebooting his confession, but no! If anything Gyuvin was pushing away from him now, and oh was Ricky sick of it.

At first Gyuvin would lean into the touches, flirt back, and would actually engage in their hangouts. But now? Oh now it was so different. Gyuvin would completely avoid all physical contact with Ricky, so much so that one time when Rick tried to give a hug the boy shoved the boy off him. Gyu would either use the excuse that it was "too hot" or that he just wasn't feeling it. As for the flirting Gyuvin gives him dirty looks and tells him to stop, but before the younger would add onto the flirty remarks.

And don't even get Ricky started on their hangouts. Gyuvin had been completely blowing him off this past week. Every time he asked Gyuvin to hang out after school the boy said he was 'busy'. However Gyuvin would later post him hanging out with Gunwook and Taerae, as if he didn't care about blatantly lying to Ricky.

It hurt Ricky already just seeing how Gyuvin was distancing himself from him, but seeing Gyu with those two made his blood boil. As the boy he wanted so desperately was distancing from him, he grew closer to Gunwook and Taerae. They're his friends too, of course he loves them but seeing how they were practically stealing Gyuvin from him he couldn't help but feel annoyed. Today marks the 4th day where Gyuvin hasn't even acknowledged him, and today was his breaking point.

Right now, here everyone is at lunch talking amongst themselves. Jiwoong and Matthew planning their date for tonight. Yujin asking them if he can join, but the couple trying to reject him gently. Hao and Hanbin were giggling with each other, leaning closer together as they continued their conversation with small subtle touches. Gunwook trying to convince Gyuvin to come watch some scary movies with him and Taerae at his place whilst being a little too touchy for Ricks liking. All this while Ricky just watched the three from a few seats away, feeling more than a little lonely. The boy who he'd practically been attached to the hip with suddenly didn't want to be near him at all, it was breaking his heart.

With a small sigh Ricky pushes his tray away from him and sips his drink before smacking his lips in disgust tasting the matcha flavor. Usually, Ricky would arrive to lunch late so Gyuvin would grab the older a strawberry drink before they were all gone in order for Ricky to actually eat the gross food that was served, but because Gyuvin was avoiding all interaction with Ricky he hasn't done so for a little over a week. Leaving Ricky to be stuck with plain water which he was fine with, but today he was stuck with matcha- he hated the taste of it more than most drinks. Drinking the green concoction made him lose whatever appetite he had left, not like there was much left.

Hao looks over at Ricky with frown seeing how the younger was so down. Hao of course knew what was wrong with Ricky, the two talk daily about Gyuvins actions- Hao was also becoming frustrated with the boys actions at this point. Hao turns his attention fully away from Hanbin and puts a hand on Ricky's knee, "You alright Rui?" Hao asks lowly in Chinese making Ricky laugh.

The older had developed the habit of speaking in Chinese whenever he felt he need to be sneaky so they would 'go unnoticed' but in reality it's quite the opposite, whenever Hao switches languages it lets everyone know something is going on. Therefore Ricky can't help but laugh at the olders obliviousness, but of course he follows along.

"I'm about to give up on this idiot ge, I don't know if I can take being ignored any longer..." Ricky replies. The boys around them just made quick glances, all confused because none of them were knowledgeable of the language. Hao pats Ricky's knee gently as he looks at the matcha, "he still hasn't spoken you?" To which Ricky only replies with a shake of his head.
