It's been two days since she came back to school. However, Ayrea couldn't find peace at all because people were gossiping about her being dumped by Brian. Since he's one of the top ten most attractive men in this campus, she was a big shot to date someone like him. In the end, he's with the campus beauty now.

Carlina, the most pretty girl in the college, all of the boys wanted to become her lover. And Ayrea lost to her even though it's so obvious about who's the winner or Brian's heart.

But Haizen told her already, that Brian wasn't a man to begin with since he did such a coward trick to break up with Ayrea.

Her head was still all about Brian, maybe she couldn't belive of what he did to her. Even it was not that long they got together, she didn't deserve him. 2 months of being a couple was enough of Brian to push away Ayrea.

"Say, Mirelle. How to distract myself from thinking about Brian?"

Mirelle startled as she heard Ayrea's mentioning that man. "You still can't get over him?? Babe, that guy isn't worth your brain. Come on, you should eat something tasty to keep you distracted from thinking about that creature." She patted Ayrea's shoulder and fed her a spoon of mango pudding.

Ayrea wasn't like Mirelle, foods distracted thoughts. She tried to keep eating like her best friend did to keep away the problems, but it didn't work on her.

"3 weeks you've missed the classes. Aren't you going to study the notes I've been giving you?" Mirelle raised her eyebrow, the hand that was holding the pudding now was placed on the table. Thinking that if foods doesn't work on Ayrea, maybe study will. "You can always stay behind after class to study, there will be no one else aside from you alone. So you can focus there without any interruption." She patted Ayrea's head.

Nodding to Mirelle, she thought the same thing too. "What about the library key? To whom am I going to give it after I'm done with studying?"

Expecting her friend to give an answer, but Mirelle shrugged while continued to swallow the pudding.

The bell rang meant the lessons ended for today. Like Mirelle suggested her to, Ayrea packed up her things and moved to the library at the second floor of the centre building.

It's true, there, she only found peace where no one can disturb her. Ayrea unpacked her things and searched for some reference books to help her study. She used a woodeb ladder to climb up the shelves, interested in some novels she saw instead of studying books. Until her foot slipped from the ladder and fell.

'A cushion? Nonsense, how can there be a cushion to my rescue?' She opened her eyes looking at a guy who's under her. All she could interpret was, she fell on him. Getting up from him, Ayrea bowed to him several times. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you..." She just realized, after she stole a glimpse of the man, he's actually the third year senior. The top 2 of the handsome men in the campus, Asher!

"It's alright, better than you get hurt." Asher got up as he fixed his clothes, maybe Ayrea got them dirty. "What could it be for a girl to stay here so late?" He slightly lifted one of his eyebrows.

"I... I... Want to keep myself distracted from problems."

She knew that she's an idiot, but not this much. How could she tell Asher who she barely knows, about her situation?

"I see. Still, it's pretty late. Your family might be worried for you." He picked up the books Ayrea held before falling.

"I told them already. And they understand my problem." Unconsciously spilled the problem, maybe she found comfort in Asher's personal space, knowing that guy was both top of handsome men and most introvert men.m in campus. He just didn't like it to mix with some people, since he's smart in reading how toxic people were.
