Charlie's pov:

I am feeling a lot better today,Nick is still asleep next to me so I am still cuddling with him. The monitor went off which meant the girls were up, I quietly got out of bed and put on my slippers before walking over to the nursery. I don't remember wearing Nick's hoodie last night but I don't mind because I would have stolen it off him at some point.

I walked into the nursery to see Millie balling her eyes out and screaming. I ran over to her and picked her up out of her crib. She kept pointing to her sister who was still asleep in her crib.

"I think she is still asleep darling" I explained to her but she kept shaking her head 'no'. I walked over with Millie to Lily's crib to check on her.

I thought it was a bit strange how she was still asleep when her sister was screaming so loud, but maybe she's just a heavy sleeper like Nick. I put Millie down so I could pick up her sister.

When I picked Lily up I put her close to my chest and light stroked her hair. I rubbed her back to try wake her up since it was their breakfast time. Lily still wasn't waking up which worried me.

I moved her up onto my shoulder. I put my ear down to listen to see if she was breathing, she was breathing but barely. I began panicking.

"NICKKKK" I let out the most gut wrenching scream as I fell to the floor with my baby girl that was barely breathing in my arms...

Nick's pov:

I woke up in a panic to Charlie's most gut wrenching scream ever. I got up and rolled over and saw he was sitting on the nursery floor holding. I ran over to the nursery and saw him having a panic attack while holding Lily.

"Charlie" I say. I sat down on the floor, Millie crawled into my lap.

"S-s-s-she I-i-i-isn't b-b-b-br-bre-breathing" Charlie choked out.

I put Millie next to Charlie and ran to our room to get my phone and I dial emergency services.

E: emergency response services, how can I help you!

N: hi my name is Nick Nelson and my baby isn't breathing

E: okay nick I need you to tell me where you are so I can get an ambulance to you

N: 124, lambert street

E: okay nick, I have an ambulance on the way

N: thank you

E: have you checked your baby's pulse

N: No No

E: okay nick can you do that for me

I walk into the nursery to see Charlie passed out on the floor with Lily and Millie is crying.

E: Nick are you still there

N: M-m-my h-hu-hus-husband I-i-is u-un-unc-uncon-unconscious

E: Nick I need you to take a few deep breaths
