Pov: Hope
That night I slept in my and Jackie's room.
But now I think that it was a bad idea because I was woken up by my sister's scream, who called our mother.
Probably a nightmare - I thought
Before I could say anything or comfort her she immediately told me to go back to sleep and not to worry about it because she would just go to the kitchen to drink some water and come back.
I listened to her.
I knew she wanted to have a moment to herself.
So I did what she said and lay down on my soft pillow again, immediately falling into a deep sleep.
That same day, but later in the morning, I got ready by getting dressed and doing girly things in the bathroom, then I went downstairs to get to the kitchen to make myself something for breakfast.
In the kitchen I found Nathan, who was making himself cereal with milk.
At a small table in the corner I also noticed Lee, Isaac and Jordan, who were already eating something, and Alex was eating cereal with milk at the counter.
"Hey guys," I said to everyone, and they all turned to me, noticing me for the first time.
Lee and Jordan said a quick "hi" to me, and Nathan, Isaac and Alex said "good morning," and then continued eating their breakfast.
"Do you want one too? I can make another batch," Nathan said to me.
"I can make my own breakfast, you know? I have hands. "- I smiled gently at him, waving my hands at the same time.
He laughed lightly at my feat, but my opinion did not concern him and slowly walked to the cupboard from which he pulled out a bowl for me.
"Thanks Nat"- I told him with gratitude, when he poured milk into my bowl and added cereal.
He handed the bowl to me, which I accepted.
I sat down on the only free chair, at the small table where the rest were sitting and began to eat cereal with milk with pleasure.
Nathan started making his portion at that time.
Suddenly Jackie came through the door, we all turned our heads in her direction.
