Chapter 7: The Burning Possessiveness

Taro and Kaito's relationship was a flame that burned brighter with each passing day. But with that flame came a burning possessiveness, a jealousy that threatened to consume them both.

"Kaito, it's okay," Taro whispered, his voice soft. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."

Kaito's gaze snapped to his, his eyes searching. And then, slowly, he nodded. His body relaxed, his fists unclenching.

But the jealousy still burned, a simmering fire that threatened to erupt at any moment. Taro knew that he had to be careful, to tread softly around Kaito's possessiveness.

As they walked away, Kaito's hand in his, Taro knew that their love was a delicate balance of passion and vulnerability. He knew that he had to be careful, to soothe the burning possessiveness before it consumed them both.
