"I know it's crazy, but it's true.", I told Emma over the phone. She didn't believe me. In all fairness, if she told me that she had just started dating Jack from All Time Low, I probably wouldn't believe her either.
"Okay, that's it. I'm coming over.", she said.
"Alright, see you in a few", I said. How was I going to convince her that it really happened. I had his number, but it could be a fake. If only I had a picture of him that wasn't on the Internet.
"Hey Jack, could you send me a picture of you holding a spoon or something. Just something's that not on the Internet?", I texted him. She would believe me if I had a picture like that.
"Sure", he responded. About a minute after that he sent me a picture of him holding one of his shoes. I checked to see if it was on the Internet real quick, and thankfully, it wasn't. I checked my phone and I had another text from him.
"Why'd you need that picture?", He asked. What was I supposed to say? I guess the truth.
"My friend doesn't believe that I'm dating you or that you gave me your phone number.", I responded with. Just after I sent the message, I heard a knock on my door. Knowing it must be Emma, I told her to come in.
"So it's true", she said after I told her everything and showed her the picture for proof. And she watched me text Jack multiple times.
"I told you. Why would I lie about something so big like this?", I asked her.
"How could it be true?", She said back. I guess she had a point. I barely believed it myself.
"So are you sleeping here?", I asked Emma.
"No, I'm going to head back home. I have some stuff to do in the morning.", She said.
"Okay. See you later", I told her as she got up to leave.
I got up to get changed into pajamas and brush my teeth. After that I sat down on the couch and watched tv. not really paying attention to it, I thought back to the crazy last two days I've had. All of my dreams came true in two days. Imagine that. Well except a few, like the common skydiving and getting married and all of that stuff, but that's not going to happen for a while. Especially the skydiving. I'm short and scared of heights so that one might not happen. As I turned off the tv and headed back to my room, I got a text. From Jack.
"I miss you", he said. I decided to quote Blink 182 because they are his favorite band.
"Don't waste your time on me you're already the voice inside of my head I miss you I miss you", I texted him back.
"Awe, Blink 182", he responded.
"Yep. 😄, night.", I sent him.
"Night", he said as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
