Her eyes look at me calmly and full of patience. My heart is still pounding through my chest but somehow, it feels right. I take a deep breath before I hear my own voice between the walls.

"Naomi is the best friend I've ever met. She was there every time I needed her, even if that meant that she had to miss a night with her family or a trip with that boy she liked. She was the most reliable person I know, I've felt a special from of savety and trust with her, something that I didn't feel with anybody else. She was there for me, and I was there for her. I was there, less then 10 meters away, when she got hit by that drunk driver. I was there when that car killed her".

I can feel the tears walking down my cheek when I see the crash happening in front of me. I look at Maeve who sits opposite me with tears in her eyes. Before she can say anything I continue.

"I've missed that safe feeling ever since, I didn't even knew what it felt like. Untill you came along. You made me feel safe again, you made me feel waht nobody else could. And it's scary, it's scary to trust somebody again. But I will because you made me laugh when I couldn't and you look out for me, even when you didn't know what was wrong."

The tears are now walking down her cheeks aswell. She looks at me, not knowing what to say.
She pulls me in a hug and I've never felt so relieved in my life. "You can trust me". Never been more proud to be her twinny.
