Without a second thought Eurys pressed his right foot onto the ground, as it dug deep into the snow, and with one powerfull push launches himself into the air. The amount of force he had placed behind his feet raised up the snows leaving behind a deep depression on the earth, as he hurtled towards the unsuspecting creature.

Within a heartbeat Eurys had already covered the distance between him and the leaping creature, as he slammed his shoulder into the side ribs of the duskstalker, the sound of crushing bones filled up the air, as Eurys's immense body strength and force of impact broke a couple of the creature's side ribs.

This simple action of his sent the creature off course, as it flew far from the kid before it slammed into a tree with a loud bang, breaking off large chunks of branches and woods from the tree.

The unlucky tree tremble as it bent into an uneven posture, almost collapsing on itself.

the duskstalker howled in pain as it crashed onto the snow raising a cloud of snow in its wake, though the creature was considered powerful amongst mundane humans, the same couldn't be said for supernatural beings.

Eurys smirked his lips as he skidded through the snow before coming to a stop.

It seems he had used up too much strength, in his surprise attack, but it didn't matter anyway, for magic creatures were not that easily killed, as if to confirm his thoughts, the duskstalker swiftly crawled back up, as it glared at Eurys with fury and resentment in its eyes recognizing the warlocks it had fought earlier.

Though it wasn't surprised by the fact that Eurys had caught him off-guard, if Eurys had been a mundane human, the creature would have sensed him miles before he even got close, moreover this wasn't the first time they had encounter each other.

Eurys slowly straighten his back up as he got into a battle stance, “C'mon then love, how bout round two” he said taunting the fearsome creature.

And it seemed his provocation worked, growling with fury and madness the creature dashed at Eurys, moving with extreme speed, although the duskstalker was already moving at an unimaginable speed it still felt like it wasn't enough, as it used the surrounding shadow as a boost for its speed,

all Eurys saw was a blur before something large slammed into his body, as it sent him flying through the air before the force of gravity plummeted him back down.

It took only a second for his body to make contact with the snow covered ground, creating a small earthquake as a loud boom traveled through the forest, the impact created a large depression on the ground, leaving behind cracked up stones and debris.

Not bothering to check if he had sustained any injury and due to his long time battle experience Eurys quickly used the inertia provided by the impact of his fall as he swiftly rolled from his original location.

Almost as if to solidify his suspicion, the sound of claws being scraped onto the ground quickly followed after the impact as a large amount of snow were raised into the air.

In an attempt to catch Eurys off guard the duskstalker had made a swift attack with the hopes of at least causing a damage to the unsuspecting warlock, too bad the creature's wit couldn't be compared to that of Eurys.

Versed in strategic combat Eurys had long since seen through the creature's primitive plan, and with the help of his battle intuition he was able to escape the danger zone.

Earlier if he hadn't moved from the impact zone he would have probably been gutted, or at least injured gravely.

Although Eurys knew the creature couldn't cause much harm to him, that didn't mean he would just sit around let the duskstalker use his body as a punching bag, even if the wounds might be mild, it still didn't warranty for him to act stupidly.
