Lumines pov:
lumine was wondering around a new planet they land on everything was reminded her of him...Her warrior,how long had she been away?Months?Years?Her brother Aether was saying to her that they had been missing for  2 weeks now so she thought that it hadnt been too long tho she wanted to go back to Teyvat back to him...She had change alot her hair were a little bit longer and she got few new scars from fighting some odd monsters that tried to attack her and her brother
Aether:hey sis,LUMINE?WHY ARE YOU CRYING?LUMI WHAT HAPPENED?DID SOMEONE HURT YOU?
she wasnt hurt at least not physically,she was missing him so much that it hurted.Lumine threw herself in her brothers arms it was warm he started patting her head he always knew how to calm her down
Lumine:Aether...I saw him again someone simillar to him a-and and i want to go back please...I miss him so much last night i saw a core memory with him we were in Fontaine and i remember i was happy to see him there suprised but happy and then we were in the court where he was proven guilty t-then i remember seeing him hurt in a strange girls arms she send him back to his homeland to recover Aether i remember how anxious i was all the days after that meeting i didnt even knew if he was alive until he came back from Snezhnaya when me and Pai met Arlecchino he had bandages around his red hair and his hands...Hehe i remember when we finish talking with Arlecchino he stayed behind i threw myslef in his arms crying and he was caressing my hair.Then he  took me on a date heh he calmed me down but our date had to be cut short because his ship was leaving....I need to get back Aether please lets live in Teyvat
Aether:Lumi...You love him dont you?I- we need to finish some works here and then we will be free but we cant stay in Teyvat forever Lumi...
he said caressing her hair,then he stopped and Lumi faced his eyes Aether wiped her tears from her eyes
Lumine:Aether please lemme stay with him...Until he dies...
Aether:uh..Okay sister fine but once he dies we will need to leave promise it
Lumine:I promise Aether i promise!Thank you Thank you!
Back at Fontaine:
Childe:Hey...
she looked at him feeling her cheecks burning up and her eyes getting wet
Childe:reunion hug?Come here
Lumine:DONT TELL ME TO COME THERE!After all that happened!I thought you were dead
she said not being able to hold herself from crying childe noticed and run to her hugging her and caressing her hair
Childe:I would never die ill always be by your side!My star
Lumine:I thought you died i thought i would never see you again i-
childe had already leaned down and placed a long lasting kiss on her lips
childe:listen to me ill always be here by your side or not ill always be with you and protecting and loving you,so please...
he said rubbing with his thumb her tears and placing his palm on her cheeck
Childe:please stop crying these beautiful big eyes of yours dont need tears...
Lumine felt her face burning,she had mixed feelings she was glad he was okay and alive but she also was a little angry at him for fighting so much that his body gave up
Lumine:Childe...I need you to promise me something please
Childe:Anything my star,anything as far as i can do it
Lumine:I want you to stop using your delusion it brings you harm and one day it might even take your life
Childe wasnt sure about it his eyes were looking into hers and his hand was rubbing her cheeck,he could see in her eyes that she was anxious for his response and also could see her anger of how things turned being a fight maniac
Childe:okay,fine ill do it just for you my star,i hate seeing you angry,at least stay by my side to help me.
Lumine:Ill stay I promise you,ill stay
Back to present:
lumine:heh and here i am away from you,i didnt keep my promise ironic isnt it?
Aether:Well i admit you didnt keep all of the promise but you kept a part of it Lumi,and plush you didnt know when your deadline come,everything went supper fast be pround that you could keep a part of the promise i think he undrestands,now now its getting late we shall head to our beds
he said placing a kiss on her forehead and pulling her hand up so she could get up,they both said their goodnights and headed to their beds.They both fell asleep fast but Lumine was dreaming of him again and one of their core memories
Back at Liyue:
Lumine and paimom was wondering around the city they just had came back from Inazuma.Its been months since she saved Liyue well saved with help ofcourse.Its had been a while since he last saw her in that domain in Inazuma and after the thing he told her "you are like the stars in the night sky never ceases to suprise me"He still wanted to apologise from the problem he caused in Liyue and maybe even become spar buddies?Depends,if she accepts.Lumine and Paimon sat on a restaurant waiting for their foods to be served Childe saw that as a golden opportunity and came closser
Childe:Hey there girlie,ordering food I see?
Paimon:ugh not you again!
Childe:wow wow easy  there flying fairy i have come in peace no intesion on harming
Paimon:How does Paimon know you are not lying?You are a fatui!
Childe:Easy there flying fairy.I told you i come in peace plush i came to apologise to LUMINE not you so if you please
he said moving Paimons chair aside from Lumine and placing his chair between them
Childe:hah perfect!Oh i see you already have order,dont worry about the price the paying is on me so eat and order as much as you like
Paimon:Ofcourse we will now that YOU are paying Paimon finds it as an oportunity money bags
Lumine:Hahaha oh you guys are the best hahaha,you almost reminded me of me and my brothers fights
Childe and Paimon stopped fighting and stare at Lumine laughing
Paimon:I hadnt seen her smiling like ever since Dain came and she saw her brother
Childe:Her smile is beautiful...
lumine after few minutes stopped laughing her gaze fell on the staring Paimon and Childe,when she understood what was happenig she felt her cheecks burning up
Lumine:yall....Stop staring at me...
Childe:You are so beautifu-I MEAN SORRY AH.OH YES THATS RIGHT.I came here to ask for your forgivness Lumine please
Paimon looked at lumine nobbing
Paimon:Yes Lumi forgive him IF he offers to pay for our food everytime we are in Liyue
Childe:I CAN DO THAT!
and just like that Childe was forgiven.Days passed and Lumine had fallen for him she fell hard.She always noticed him first before anyone else in a sea filled with people,she was looking forward to see him when they had to spar.Childe felt the same he wanted to be around her all the time he didnt want to miss any of her.One day he asked her out on a date without Paimon
inside the serenetia pot lumine was getting ready for her date
Paimon:Paimon wouldnt even want to be there hm!
Lumine:Come on Pai i love you but please i hate it when you are angry at me
Paimon:Hm.And what Paimon would do all alone in the teapot?Drink tea with mr Zhongli?I dont like it when im around him he always talks and talks and talks about Liyues history or differnt tea flavors
Lumine:Oh i think its good to know about Liyues history but i agree on the tea.Hey do you want to go at Xianglings?
Paimon:Paimon can go?Yes please!Can you drop me off?
Lumine:Yes Pai i can

Once they got ready Luimine dropped off Paimon at Xianglings and continued for the Northland Bank where Childe was they were lot of stairs but she manage to come up and meet with two fatuis at the entrance
Lumine:Oh,Hi Im here for Childe.
Vlad:Oh hello hello!You must be miss Lumine,am i correct?Please come on in mr Childe is at the room in the end he was expecting you.Im Vlad by the way nice to meet you!
Lumine went in easily and headed for the room the fatui mentioned.She saw a girl with purple coat and the fatui mask at the end of the hallway
Ekaterina:Hello,are you here for mora?
Lumine:Ah hello,no im not,uh Im here for Childe.Vlad told me that his room is at the end of the hallway
Ekaterina:Oh you must be miss Lumine then!Hello hello welcome!Childe is out at them moment he will be back in a while he said he needed to buy something urgent
Lumine:Oh...I see,well ill wait for him
Ekaterina:Excellent!You know master Childe has told us lots for you
Lumine:Oh?Like?I hope he didnt said anything embarassing
Ekaterina:No no not at all,he described us how you look like he said "shes the most beautiful woman i have ever seen!Her hair are blonde and her eyes are yellow and shiny,shes short and looks young but dont let her looks fool you shes like an angel an angle that im not even sure if i can have her down here with me"an-
Suddenly the door opened and it revealed a boquet of roses red roses they sympolised love behind the roses was childe his face was red from blushing too hard both Lumine and Ekaterina were stunned Ekaterina couldnt imagine how strong his feelings for lumine was she never saw him in love she was happy for him,Lumine had blushed too and she was staring at him
Childe:Thats enough Ekaterina.Sorry im a little late but i thought that without roses a date wouldnt be date and i had to get them for you
he said coming closer to her giving her the roses,he wanted to see her reaction so bad would she like them?Would she hate them?The agony was killing him
Lumine:T-thank you they look amazing
She said hugging the boquet and smiling,her smile was adorable he couldnt stop looking at her he threw a light smile too the agony had leave and it was replaced with hapiness
Childe:Well thank you Ekaterina for keeping her company while im gone,but i think ill take her from here.Shall we?
Lumine:Yes lets go.It was nice meeting you miss Ekaterina i hope next time see more of eachother,we shall go out one day and crab some tea if youd like
Ekaterina:I would love that miss Lumine,master Childe you are supper cute together allow me to snap a photo please
Ekaterina crabbed the camera and took a photo from the two lovebirds
Ekaterina:You good to go!Childe you must take good caare of her
Childe:I will dont worry haha
And just like that they left for their date,he took her to the most expensive restaurant and treat her to the best meals after they finish eating he got her to a quiet place inside the town the trees had red and yellow petals and the air was taking them from place to place the street was clean from people it was late after all,they came across a small clear area from houses wich you could see the sky and the stars they sat there for a while not talking just admiting the stary night sky
Lumine:The stars are beautiful arent they?
Childe was looking at her direction,she didnt noticed him she was looking up at the sky,he was blushing
Childe:yes..Yes you are
Lumine:Haha are you flirting with me or something?
Childe:heh maybe yes maybe no?
They both laughed,then Lumine noticed a rin on his pinky finger it wasnt fancy and all but it was looking like it was a wedding ring,she felt sad and dissapointed "of course someone like him would be taken.."she thought to herself,Childe noticed the change of her mood and tried to find out what was it about and then he noticed thedirection she was looking at.She was looking at his pinky finger and especialy the one that has the ring on he smirked and laughed Lumine felt her face burn up and turning red and she looked angry "he figured it out" she thought to herself
Childe:Are you looking at  my ring?My girlfriend will be angry
he was teasing
Lumine:IM SO SORRY I DIDNT MEANT TO-OH MY ARCHONS YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?
Childe:well sorta of...If she accepts tonight
Lumine:What do you mean?
Childe kneel and  took off his ring with one hand and with the other her was holding Lumines hand he slowly put the ring on her middle finger and placed a kiss on it
Childe:Ive known you for so long,at first i was excited and happy to have a worthy buddie to spar with and i was lucky to find you,but then i started catching feelings for you i was looking forward every day to get even a little glance of you and if i was lucky enough I would even accompany you to dinner.Lumine you make me happy every day you are the light to my dark hell,i-i love you.Do you wanna be my girlfriend ?
Lumine didnt had any words she was staring at him the only thing she could do was to cry not because she was sad but because she was happy Childe noticed and panicked he stood up and gave her a big hug caressing her hair
Childe:I- im so sorry i didnt want to make you sad or to cry please forgot i said anything i understand if you dont wan-
Lumine:Could you shut up for a moment and let me speak you idiot!I-I love you too and these are happy tears.And yes i wanna be your girlfriend and stay by your side
Childe was happy and hugged her tight he even placed a kiss on her forehead
Childe:I love you too...My star
It was morning Aether found his sister asleep with a happy face this time could it be?The nightmares stopped?He wanted to wake her up but its been a while since she had a happy dream so he let her be and went to prepare breakfast for them.After an hour she woke up too with a smile on her face "it was a beautiful dream"she thought to herself she got up from the bed and went straight to the kitchen finding pancakes and waffles with strawberries on the table,Aether noticed her called her to sit down and eat
Lumine:Wow did you make all these by yourself?
Aether:Well i noticed how happy you were in your sleep and i thought to make you something as a gift
Lumine took a bite and the smile she had on her lips spread wider it was too good.She had the best big brother ever and she was glad to have him back in her life "guess all these years wondering from nation to nation in Teyvat they paid off"she thought
Aether:We are leaving for Teyvat tomorrow,so pack your things today if you have much to pack ill help you
Lumine couldnt belive it they were leaving tomorrow!She would see Ajax in the next days!
Lumine:Okay i will,i dont think i have lots to take with me anyway.Oh and Aether...Thank you so much
she got up from the chair and said with a big smile and a big thank you hug
Aether:I want you to be happy...Your happiness is my top second priority the first one is to keep you safe
He said returning the hug back
