17• Lost in misery

The next day :

As usual manik was so quite calm and happy to go to his school.. while Shayan had to leave today for his higher education..

Current time ;

Manik was in the kitchen helping the maids to make a special breakfast .. as the family wanted to make it special for Shayan ..

Manik - Aunty.. can I just leave now Mm ?? (To the head maid)

Head maid - you can't manik .. we'll get scolded for it .. if you don't wanna work you could sit or stand here.. but you can't leave (whispering voice while doing chores)

Manik - but I need to leave for school.. it's getting late .. okay leave .. can you please ask sir if i could go ?? Like I'm getting late or something... (With his big eyes pleaded)

Head maid - why ?? you can't go and ask him ?! I'm busy doing work .. you go and ask him ..

Manik - I would have .. but you know na I can't speak until I'm spoken to .. please na aunty .. pretty please (showing his big eyes cutely)

Head maid - fine wait here I'll ask him.. (and went to ask mr Malhotra who was sitting on a couch in the living room while reading magazines)

In the living room ;

Head maid : sir ?

Mr Malhotra - yes ?

Head maid - actually manik wanted to ask if he could go to his school as he's getting late .. (while looking down)

Mr Malhotra - there's a lot to do today .. tell him to stay back home .. it's not like he's some topper or something.. (started reading magazines while the maid went back to the kitchen)

In the kitchen :

Manik saw the maid coming back so he asked her immediately..

Can I leave now ~ Manik (happy face)

No you can't manik .. sir said that there is already a lot going on for today so you must stay back ~ Head Maid (with a Lil sad smile)

You're lieing na ?? Leave it I'll ask him myself.. I don't wanna miss my school at all.. the course is already very hard to complete (started giving different reasons and then said again)

Aunty.. can't you go ask him again ?! What if his mood got changed please ~ Manik

Manik I'm busy .. I can't just talk about you all the time when he already said that you won't be going to school today .. if you're that interested in going there .. go and ask him by yourself and stop irritating me .. you're becoming a burden to me in this kitchen.. agh(yelled at manik with irritation)

While manik eyes became teary because of harsh voice and spoke

I'm sorry .. I didn't want to irritate you or burden you ~ Manik (and ran from there to his room )

Manik's pov :

Am i really a burden ?? Am i really irritating ??
"I know that, but still.. ahh yeah that's correct I can't expect her to pamper me after getting in trouble all the time.. everyone hates me .. everyone..

Tears are Falling from his eyes continuously.. making his vision blur..

His Heart is aching with a unknown pain more than any other days. He only feels the pain. Hear the pain and see the pain...

While manik was going towards his room Shayan came in his path and he bumped into Shayan resulting in both falling on the floor ..

Shayan stood up and slapped Manik hard.. How dare you piece of shit don't you have eyes or what .. freakin' useless (and dust off his clothes while manik was still in daze )
