Wilbur and Techno came home late that night, went to bed and woke up as usual. Nothing new, they thought.
Techno woke up before Wilbur, at 6:30. He didn't feel like sleeping so he started making himself cereal. After he got that done he went and continued reading his book. It was his everyday routine but he enjoyed it. No changes and he liked it like that. Wilbur woke up after him, grumpy from coming late last night, Techno told him he smelled like smoke so he took a shower.
Tommy woke up and just sat there for good 20 minutes. He didn't know what to do. Does he go down? Does he wait for Phil? Does he get dressed? He finally remembered Phil's words from last night. He made sure his hair looks okay, good enough not to scare anyone and was praying Phil was down.
Phil had a tiring night, his alarm went off several times but he didn't plan on waking up. He always woke up before this time of the morning. Just 5 more minutes he always thought, Sam called his boss and he got off work, what's the rush? He took his phone and made a few texts to Puffy, they were debating on suing the hospital but they already had enough of things going on. That could wait
Techno heard a door open, and heard footsteps walking down the stairs. He started "Phil finally what took you so lo-" he stopped when he looked a boy in the eyes, standing in the middle of the room and noticing that infact wasn't Phil. Even worse timing, Wilbur walked out of the bathroom. He went down by the table without even noticing at first, but as soon as he looked up he got a confused look on his face, matching the other 2 boys.
The 3 just stared at each other before Wilbur spoke up: "child what are you doing in my house?" Techno followed along "what the hell, an orphan" Tommy just stood there confusingly with 2 pair of eyes watching him.
As he was about to say something a loud bang of a door opening and someone sprinting down the stairs. All 3 of them looked up and saw Phil who looked like he just woke up. "Good morning boys!" He said trying to ease the tension he felt in the room. Techno asked him "Phil will you explain what an orphan is doing in our house" Phil replied "yes yes I will" He stood next to Tommy and put a hand on his shoulder "This is your new foster brother. Tommy meet Techno and Wilbur, Tech and Will meet Tommy. Remember the call I had yesterday? Sam asked me to take him in cause of an emergency"
Techno stared at Phil in shock, occasionally looking at Wilbur who had the same look on his face. His brother spoke "why didn't you tell us? We almost kicked him out!" Phil replied " I didn't want to bother you guys! I figured I will tell you in the morning" he went over to the counter and said proudly "family breakfast! I'm cooking" Techno said "I already ate, you know that" Phil just said "well you're eating again" followed by "you three go sit on the couch, meet each other while I cook"

It was an.. silent conversation on the couch.
Wilbur started "soo...how old are you kid" Tommy replied "I'm 14, and I'm not a kid. Names Tommy you b1tch" Wilbur got taken a bit back "okay okay Tommy"
After few seconds of silence Tommy decided to ask them "what about you guys?" Wilbur replied "19" and techno said "18"
Wilbur decided to turn the tv on, since he saw this conversation isn't going anywhere. He put the good doctor on since tech and phil like it, and hopefully Tommy will.
Techno surprisingly thought to himself 'this kid isn't that bad'
He definitely didn't like that he was here, but he didn't hate him in some very weird reason. Doesn't mean he liked him either, but he didn't seem like a devil. Just a 14 year old kid in puberty with slight anger issues. He wasn't any different nor was Wilbur. He doesn't want him here, he just ruined a perfectly good morning routine. Dad could have told them that he brought a random child home and to have them at least a little prepared, they were about to attack him.
Wilbur just...didn't have an opinion. He's definitely having an emergency talk with Techno after this hell of a breakfast. Phil brought a random baby home and is just like 'you guys get along' well it isn't that easy. The kid seems..ok. Just a normal teenager. He can find 2 same ones down the street. But what do they do with him? They're not prepared at all. Neither of them were prepared for a new person to just join their life
After a painfully long awkward period of time Phil called them to sit at the table.
They sat and Phil started "so I was thinking we go shopping tomorrow? All of us need some new stuff and we gotta get Tommy clothes and just basic necessities"
Wilbur said "Hell yes I love spending your money, you don't even have to ask" everyone laughed at Wilbur's comment Techno also agreed "yea I'm good" and Tommy nodded
Phil said "will someday you could introduce schlatts kid and his friend to Tommy, they're you're age Tom" Wilbur just hummed in a reply.
The rest of the day went normally. Phil told Techno to give Tommy his old phone until he gets a new one, considering his old phone worked perfectly fine but to Techno it seemed out dated (let's picture an iphone 12 in red, cause I say so)
Since Tommy didn't know a lot about phones, he owned a really bad glitchy broken one in some foster home, that he broke even more, Techno sat him in the living room to explain things to him and to set it up. "Okay so, to get you apps we're gonna make an email okay?" Tommy replied "mkay got it boss man, how do we do that"
Techno said "I'll do the big work and you just sit and watch" after he went thru putting the phone number and verification "what do you want it to be called?" Tommy said "tommy" techno looked at him weirdly "the name has to be longer" tommy thought to himself 'gosh this is hard hmm' and came up with the final answer "tommybigbossman" techno sighed as he typed that in and Tommy laughed.
Techno then asked "what do you want as the password?" Tommy make a loud long hmm thinking sound and then said "alltheladieslovemeiamthebiggest"Techno stared at him like he destroyed his house, before saying "go write that on a piece of paper, looking at you I see you have a memory of a goldfish" Tommy said loudly while laughing "NO I DO NOT" he went to write up the information and then got the phone all for him.
Wow his first real phone that actually worked. He didn't know much but he'd say this was a fancy and a kinda expensive phone.

His first intuition was to install only one game, and he got one of those stupid brainrot apps, and he got an add for another one and he installed it, and another one and he again installed it, and another one, and another one and another one and another one and like that for a few hours. He didn't even play some games he installed. Soon he got a knock on his door and he yelled "Come in"
Wilbur walked in and after a second of just awkwardly standing there he asked "do you want me to install you some social media?' Like TikTok, it's fun to watch yk. And WhatsApp so you can text us" (authors note: who even uses whatsapp but okay) Tommy replied "oh yea sure I'd like that" Wilbur went and sat next to Tommy who was laying on his bed and took the phone. As he tried to install an app he got the notification 'unable to install. Delete an app to free up storage' he called out to techno who was in his room "Tech! I thought you reset this phone?"
Techno replied loudly "I did" Wilbur asked Tommy "did you install some stuff already?" Tommy nervously said "just a few games" and watched as Wilbur went to the App Library and saw all the games "HOW MANY DID YOU INSTALL?" Tommy loudly replied "I LOST COUNT AFTER 52. ITS NOT MY FAULT I GOT MORE AND MORE ADDS"
Techno walked in the room after hearing the muffled screams "yo what happened you two are loud" Wilbur gave him the phone and said "LOOK AT THIS" techno took one glance and said "Tommy what the hell, how many games is this?" Tommy said "I DONT KNOW" while half laughing
With the help of Wilbur he picked only a few to leave and deleted the rest. He was then added to the 'family gc' with Phil, Techno, Wilbur. He hadn't seen Phil all day, after he was done showering he was lying in his bed and heard the front door open. Soon he got a knock on his door and Phil walked in and sat on the corner of his bed and said "Hey sorry I was gone, Sam and Puffy buried me in paper work and talks with cps. Did you get along with tech and will?" Tommy replied "yea we had a fun day, they're cool" Phil smiled and ended with "I'm glad you got along, you should go to sleep now we have to wake up early." As he started walking out of the room he added a lovely "goodnight!" And Tommy replied a faint goodnight. He was honestly kinda tired from today. He had to admit he had fun
