"Remember, Esha, every girl's fate is like her mother's... you're a bad omen, Esha, a terrifying reality in my life. I cursed you that you will never find love - no one can love and care for a girl like you...jiski bhi zindagi me jaogi uski zindagi manhusiyat se bhar dogi"

(Whoever's life you enter into, his life will be filled with misery)

I could hear him say he was approaching me with a wicked smile.

The glint of a knife caught my eye, its sharp edge gleaming in his hand as he walked towards me.

Panicked, I began to back away, stumbling and falling to the ground. "Dad, please don't hurt me," I begged, my voice trembling with fear.

But his cruel smile only grew, sending shivers down my spine.
With my heart racing, I watched as he raised the knife and brought it down towards my legs.

The sharp pain shot through me as the blade pierced my skin, blood flowing from the wound. I screamed in agony, but he showed no mercy. The knife was embedded deep in my thigh, and I struggled to free myself from his grasp.

But before I could even try, he choked me, cutting off my air supply. I gasped for breath, but it was no use. I could feel myself losing consciousness.

I saw his sinister expression, his merciless eyes glaring down at me. I couldn't breathe.

Everything went black.

Suddenly opened my eyes, I was gasping for air, my heart pounding in my chest. Sweat covered my forehead, and I struggled to calm myself down.

Slowly, I opened my eyes again and found myself in a hospital bed.

Fearing i touched my thighs where the knife had been, but I could feel nothing. I can only feel a deep scar.

Relief flooded through me, and I let out a sigh.

But then confusion set in.
How did I end up here?
I had fainted, hadn't I?

"You are up, wait a sec, I'll get the doctor," that's what the nurse told me as she came in, took the reports, and left.

A few minutes later, the doctor strolled in, checked all the reports, and said, "Miss Esha, for now everything is fine, but you should consult a doctor soon, and I think you know better than me why this happened"

He said hinting at something and i understood what he was talking about.

He then left, and I sat there feeling too weak to even move.

I sighed, contemplating my life, unable to make sense of everything happening around me.

It's all becoming too frustrating.

But I'm not that ten year old Esha. I'll definitely seek my answers.

But how is he involved in this case?
