The hands of the thunder-god Raiden generates a sphere of lightning between his hands as Shao Kahn, Emperor of Outworld, slips his skull-masked helmet on, glaring at Raiden with malicious intent.
[Shao Kahn has consumed Earthrealm]
Raiden and Shao Kahn assume their battle stances in the emperor's kolosseum as the roar of a cheering Outworld echoes around them.

Scorpion's chained kunai drops from his right hand to just above his ankle as Sub-Zero's fists emit frost and frozen steam while the sworn enemies face each other with venomous hate.
[His victory must be undone.]

Raiden sidesteps while Shao Kahn stalks toward the thunder-god before stopping to smirk maliciously at Raiden.

The purple-clad Edenian assassin, Rain, assumes his battle stance as his opponent, Marcus Blaine, does the same.
He is a well-built human, 25 years of age, with blonde hair that reaches down to his shoulder blades, has facial stub, is wearing blue jeans with shin guards and brown leather combat boots over the leg wear, both hands wrapped in white gauze from the knuckles to near his elbows, a thin black gauze wrapped around his left upper arm, a white sleeveless workout hoodie with black sides and blue framing with the hood over his head. A large birthmark that looks like the tournament's dragon symbol on his chiseled chest that reaches halfway down to his core can be seen from beneath his hoodie, thanks to the zipper being almost all the way down. His sky-blue eyes glare at the Edenian with lethal anger.
[We will strike where he is vulnerable; the past.]

Raiden roars defiantly as he charges at the Konqueror.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero charge at each other themselves, the latter growling ferociously, before they get close enough and prepare to strike.

Once they got close enough, Shao Kahn and Raiden strike each other simultaneously with their right fists engulfed in their respective powers.
