Anyhow, as you probably saw on the tags, this is a werewolf story. Every werewolf megaverse whatever has their own set of "rules" and "guides" regarding their powers and abilities.
In my story they follow pretty much the usual, being that werewolves have heightened sense like hearing, sight and touch, as well as heightened abilities to run at super insane speeds and healing very quickly. They shift as early as the age of 10 and are able to communicate with their wolves and have their wolves take over control of their bodies for certain periods of time.
Wolves can scent their mates starting from when they turn 16 years old. Mates have a very strong bond between them and are eventually able to feel their loved one's emotions and and physical pain -- or pleasure *wink wink*
Certain wolves are born with extra abilities, almost as if "powers" (you'll see later in the story). The greater powers they have, the stronger the wolves are.
There are different classes of wolves, as in:
Alpha Wolves
Beta Wolves
Gamma Wolves
Warrior Wolves
Omega Wolves
...and so on
Later it'll be specified the differences between them.
Also, when stuff is written in italics, it means that it's the character's thoughts and comments in their head, or if speaking when they emphasise on a word; also used for talking through the mind link.
When stuff is written in bold italics, it means the characters wolf is the one talking in their minds or in mind link.
When stuff is written in bold, it means their wolf has taken over and is speaking in their human form; also used when spoken in a different language.
Lastly, in Aiden's case especially, underlined italics means it's his subconscious talking to him in his head. When it's only in italics it means it's his thoughts or him communicating with his subconscious.
Gosh hopefully this wasn't very confusing, sorry if it was.
I'll try my best to write everything clearly so you can always understand who is talking.
More stuff will be eventually explained later if needed.
