Chapter 1: The Field Where It Began
Freen's Pov
I ran, and I ran. I don't even remember which path my feet were taking me. I just ran with all my might, afraid that they'll take me.
"Sarocha! Come back here this instant!" His voice boom through the forest. Despite the distance, it's loud and clear so now my body is on high alert. Running and running til my body can't take it anymore.
I hide on a small bush and just shut my eyes out. Hoping and praying that he won't catch me, it's like as if he wouldn't see me if I close my eyes.
Yes, I know- pretty stupid, huh..
"Freen! Come on, baby! It's just study!" He shouted again, in hopes that I'll return. I chuckle at his sentence.
Yes, all this drama is all because I don't want to study. My grades are fine, my performance tasks grades are fine, I participated in school activities, I won every school events, what else do they need?
Is studying all they want me to do?
"Alright! Fine! No more studying for today, okay? Go back to the house before the sky turns dark, got it?" He shouted again and left. I sighed and just took a few deep breathes.
"What a show." Someone commented and I swear, my body went frozen and then scan the area in panic in a span of 30 seconds.
"Look up." She voice out again and that's when I look up to see a very beautiful girl, a few years younger than I am.
"Hello, I'm new at the village. What's your name?" She asked as she jumped down the tree where she's sitting, watching all the ruckus earlier.
"You already knew my name. He was shouting it like a madman earlier." I commented and this caused her to giggle. She stretch out her hand out of nowhere as if she's asking for a handshake.
"Well then. Hi Freen, my name is Becca." She said and gave me a smile. She is really beautiful. Like a doll, a cute doll.
"You're new here?" I asked, looking around.
"Yeah, we just moved in earlier and then I just went around the neighborhood to look around." She said and I just smile at that.
"Yeah, 'look-around' and you're just on the tree." I said which caused her to laugh, "Well, you didn't notice me watching you both though." Becca commented and I just shrug because she's right away.
We live here at Sunset Village. Well, as you noticed- it's name because the village is known for the sunsent. A perfect view of the sunset.
Our village is small but not outdated. Deep in the village is where we are right now, it is a very deep secret haven I found when I always run away from studying. There's a wooden hand-made bench here, a small lake and a small pond on the other side, and a huge tree that separates them. It was a very relaxing place.
She's my new friend, Rebecca Armstrong. How should I describe her?
Pretty, chaotic and kind.
There's one in our adventure which sums up her personality and who she really is as a person. She's really beautiful, like a pink rose that you can see somewhere in someone's garden, pretty open but guarded.
