~ Below is a list of spells from the Harry Potter franchise; which characters in my series, "Magic in the Making", (canon and/or my original characters) do you think will use them the most, and why?✨
~ Aberto- the Opening Charm; used when Alohomora doesn't work (Queenie used it in Fantastic Beasts).
~ Accio- summons an object to a person's hand.
~ Colloportus- locks a door and binds it so it can't be opened.
~ Confringo- explodes an object.
~ Episkey- heals minor wounds.
~ Evanesco- dissolves an object to oblivion.
~ Expelliarmus- disarms a person of their weapon (usually a wand); the Disarming spell. When used with enough power, can knock someone off their feet.
~ Ferula- summons bandages out of thin air.
~ Immobulus- makes a person freeze/stand still.
~ Impervious- repels water; usually seen used on glasses/Quidditch goggles in the original source material.
~ Orchideous- creates flowers.
~ Petrificus Totalus- completely immobilizes/freezes a person.
~ Reducto- breaks & destroys objects; depending on the power of the spell, it'll either break the targeted item/items into pieces or powder. Can also cause damage to enemies in combat.
~ Reparo- fixes a broken item.
~ Rictusempra- causes a person to laugh uncontrollably like they're being tickled.
~ Silencio- makes a person unable to talk or make any sound with their mouth.
