Chloe's POV:
Red and I had our last class together. It was a language class. I heard students in excitement when walking into the classroom. It was a movie day. Red didn't like the noise that much. We just sat down and talked about anything that came to mind. I made her laugh and just stared and adored her. Red looked absolutely adorable when happy. When class started, Red just lay her head down while watching. I was invested in it. While she did not care one bit. I saw her doing some extra credit assisignments, then she whispered to me, "Why do you care about this?" I chuckled and smiled at her. "Because it's very interesting." I whispered back. Red sighed and continued working. Mr. Oakley walked up next to Red and asked her, "Do you even care about these fun movies I play?" Everyone stared at Red in the back. I looked at her to see if she needed help or not. "No." That's all Red said. "Ms. Hearts, I play these every Friday for you guys to get a fun period. And you ignore it?" He said. "So? Fun was banned for me throughout my life." Red signed. "Who bans fun for a kid!?" A student asked in a complaining tone. "You all forgot my mother is the Queen of Hearts from Wonderland, right?" Red looked up in disappointment. I just laughed. "Oh. Right. My apologies, Miss Red." Mr. Oakley walked back to his desk, and everyone turned back around to watch the movie. Red just rolled her eyes, sighed, and then put her head back down to work. I gave a thumbs up to Red, smiled, then continued watching the T.V.
We put our stuff in our lockers and then head to our dorm. I saw Red flop on the bed out of tiredness. "You look like you're ready to take a nap, Hearts." I said to her. "Not without a kiss." Red responded. I laid her fully on the bed, and then my lips met hers. After a few minutes, we stopped, and Red was breathing hard. "You don't have strong lungs, don't you?" I teased her, moving my fingers across her waist. She laid on me. "Shut up." Red was getting comfortable. "Can we stay like this?" Red muffled. "Sure, love." I played with her hair as she was falling asleep. I had a book in my other hand about history.
Red's POV:
I woke up to see Chloe reading. She saw me and kissed me. "Good morning, Hearts." She said after finishing the kiss. "Morning, Princess." I said, sitting up and focusing my vision. I didn't know what I was staring at, but Chloe put her hand on my chin and made me face her. "Remember, darling. I love you. You are mine." I pushed back to the farther side while my face was flustering up. "Why do you keep calling me,'darling'!?" I turned my head away from her. "Cause it's fun to see your reaction." She chuckled. "It's Saturday. We can stay in here. Minus for meals. We should work on the history project. I think the others want to meet us here." Chloe said. Just when we heard a knock on the door.
Trev, Alex, Diana, and Chloe were at the desk. Reading stuff on the computer while taking notes. I was drawing, planning how to put stuff on the poster. I lay down, finished with my side of the work. "You finished, Hearts?" I knew it was Chloe talking. "Yes, I am, dear." Chloe looked at my drawing. I was anxious about her opinion. Then she kissed me. Right on the lips. "It's perfect." Chloe walked back over and showed the other three. "Holy fuck, Red. This is perfect!" Diana shouted in glee. My anxiety went away after hearing them agree that we're using the drawing as the plan. It only took about...half of my sketchbook to get the drawing right and perfect.
"Rest, dear. You're clearly still tired. We'll get breakfast and bring it here." Chloe said. Then I was alone. Until I heard my phone buzz. Maddox texted me.
Maddox: Just checking in, how is my wonderful friend doing?
Red: Eh, alone right now. 3 other students went to go get breakfast with Chloe. Working on a history project rn
Maddox: Great news! Is the pocketwatch and looking glass okay?
I looked into my private drawer to see both of them in normal conditions.
Red: Yep. Both of them are perfectly fine
Maddox: I'll tell your mother that now. Have fun!
Red: Yeah, yeah. Thanks, Mads'
That reminds me, I need to call my mom about the parent-teacher conferences. I thought. I just sat there until I heard my mom's voice through the phone. "Hello, Red. Is everything okay in Auradon?" Bridget asked. "Yes, mom. I just wanted to know if we're participating in the parent-teacher conferences next week on Wednesday?" I asked. "Yes, we are. I have the slip with all the information needed. I'll see you then. Love you." Bridget responded, making kissing noises. "Alright. Love you too, mom." Then I hung up. Saying "love you" to my mom sounded weird still. From how she was in the past. That's when I heard the door open.
Chloe's POV:
I kissed Red after setting breakfast down in front of her. "Eat what you can, love. You didn't eat much yesterday. You completely skipped dinner." I said. Red kissed me back and responded, "I don't know. Nothing sounds good right now." I sighed, then walked over to the dresser. "How about this? If you eat, we can do a date at the Enchanted Lake." I looked at her excited and adorable face. "You promise?" Red asked to double check. "I promise with all my love to you." I winked at her. "You're making us feel single here, lovebirds!" Trev exclaimed. "Shut it and be jealous." Red teased while drinking water. "Oh, go fuck yourself, Red!" Trev yelled back. "To bad. I already have a girlfriend to do that." Red shot a glance at me then stared back at Trev. I slammed my hands on the dresser. Both of our faces were completely red. "Holy shit did I say that out loud!?" Red covered her face with her sketchbook. "Yes!" I shouted. The other three were laughing really hard.
Hours passed, and we had the poster completed. It was due by Tuesday. So we had plenty of time to make changes if we needed to. Alex and Trev took it to their dorm. Now it was just Red and I. I stared at her until I heard her speak, "So... about earlier." Her face was a bright red. "The thing you said out loud?" I wanted to clear it up. "Yes," Red said. "I didn't mean it like that. I mean, we're both still sixteen. We can't do that until maybe mid to late 20s." Red sounded upset from that. I sat next to her, putting my hand on her back. "It's gonna be fine. I know you didn't mean it. Let's forget about it. I saw you eat. What time would you like the date to be?" Red's sad face went to being happy, exciting, and adorable in my eyes. "Uhh... how about eight P.M. or pass? It's usually the pretty night sky then." I was amazed. "I didn't know you liked the night sky." I said. "Hey, there's probably a lot of more things you don't know about me." Red chuckled. I hugged her. My adorable Princess. I thought.
