"Yeah, we're flying back tomorrow."

While Aiden and Seb catch up with their parents, I snuggle in between them on the couch. Micah and Ada are cooking, so I better avoid the kitchen. Micah is a disaster.

Socially interacting this morning was nice, but it wore me out. I'm already having trouble keeping my eyes closed, and that while Aiden told me we are picking up the self-defense lessons again.

Not because the incident was my fault, but to avoid it happening again. I completely understand.

Sebastian notices me almost falling asleep and subtly places a blanket on me. He gently wraps me up. Aiden kisses my hair and gives me his hand, almost as a reminder he's still here. Just like he's promised.

Easton cocks an eyebrow at the sight, but doesn't say anything. No, he's too busy tracing Daisy's—I've caught on their parents' name, finally—lips. She is trying to slap his hands away, but anyone can tell he's too strong.

Apparently, Dominic, Easton and Asher are brothers. It amazes me. They look different, but that is because of their haircuts and clothes. If they would have the same cuts and suits, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

"Seb?" I whisper, not wanting to interrupt but having to know. He immediately looks down at me with a smile. "Yes?"

I blink a few times, trying to focus on his face. When my sight isn't as blurry anymore, I go on. "Why were you so mean? Yesterday morning, when I had to leave for the bus. And then in the car, all of you were so grumpy."

Mostly Aiden. His words hurt the most, but I don't want to say that to his face. He's stayed with me the whole night and assured me, after all.

Next to me, a deep sigh sounds. I wince, knowing he heard what I asked. Shit, that wasn't what I intended. "Come on, baby, let's get you in your bed."

I frown. But lunch's ready in less than thirty—" "Better take a quick nap then," Aiden snaps, picks me up and leaves without as much as another word. I can only cling to him to not fall.

Instead of my room, he takes me back to his bedroom again. I don't mind, it's very special. His ceiling is an aquarium, filled with blue light and tropical fish. I absolutely love it.

"Yesterday. I'm sorry I got irritated and took it out on you, sweetheart." He cups my cheeks in a gentle way I'd have never expected. But I'm not complaining.

"I may have been upset we had to let you go. These two weeks with you were the most enjoyable of my life. And then the car got sabotaged, and it just exploded in my head. You were the first person I saw, so I took it out on you. I was also worried about your well-being, that close to the car. I will work on my temper, okay?"

I blink at the overload of information but nod. He'll work on it for me? That's sweet.

When he starts telling me about how he's a little upset I won't live with them anymore in Ohio, I feel him pushing me backwards on the bed and pulling off my pants. "W-what are you doing?" I stutter, feeling confused.
