Sixteen years later

Writer's pov
Róse alarm went off and she went out to see her nana already making her favorite strawberry pancakes.
"Awwwwn Mami my birthday breakfast smells amazing." She said still abit sleepy.
"I know why my cooking is for my noodle." Her nana replied as she finished up with her cooking.
Róse sat down and wanted to start eating when her nana hit her hand with the iron big spoon.
"The mail remember?" She said as she sat down.
Róse rubbed the place she hit,"Mami you were already standing you would have gotten it.....it is my birthday."
All her nana did was smile as she opened the door.
"Maxwell any mail today....did my letter arrive." Róse said excitedly but whispered it so her nana wouldn't hear.
"Actually I didn't go to work yet." He said and róse sighed in disappointment,"oh...."
"I actually wanted to give you this..." He handed her a small box,"happy birthday."
Róse collected it and smiled which brought out her dimples,"Thanks how did you know..."
"I always know what goes on around here I'm the mail boy." He teased.
She gave an innocent laugh," yeah I forgot not to doubt you."
He looked in and waved at her nana," nana good morning."
Her nana waved back,"Let me go and not distract you two..."
She winked at róse who slapped her forehead in annoyance,"Mami!!"
Maxwell blushed,"I could get that mail for you."
Róse shook her head cutely,"No need just send me the address I'll get it."
"You want to stress yourself on your birthday."
"Don't worry I'm already used to it." Róse said with a cute small smile.
He sent her the address and waved her off,"duty calls."
She closed the door and held the box close,"let's keep you for later."
"So did he ask you out?" Her nana asked and róse sighed," I'm going out so stay out of trouble."
"Is it somewhere fun?" Her nana asked.
"It's the mail station." Róse said plainly stuffing a pancake in her mouth.
"On your birthday??" Her nana asked shocked.
"Don't worry it will be fun." She said entering her room.
Róse pov
Mami can get annoying sometimes but she's the only family I've got.
I might not know how we got together but I'm just happy we did.
I freshened up and wore a purple cute top and peach short skirt. I wore some cute set of boots and tied my hair with a purple ribbon in a Ponytail.
Let me look good on my birthday.......
