──────────── chapter two ; arlo

“Who the hell are you?”

The demon analysed the boys, he was trying to figure out who they were, with the sense of their looks he had assumed that they’re hunters. Arlo blinked, turning his eyes black, showing who he was before turning them back to his natural colour. “Well aren't you boys something" the demon laughed.

Dean glared at the demon. “You didn't answer our question” he said, which got a chuckle from Arlo, finding that demand from somebody like him was something he expected. He raised his arms up in a mock surrender.

“No need to be defensive” he said, yet Arlo was going to reveal himself just yet. “I'm just starting to have fun here" he said mockingly, tackling the hunter down to the ground.

“Dean!” Sam shouted, grabbing the bottle of holy water that was stashed inside of his jacket in case of an emergency, quickly unscrewing the cap as the liquid flew to Arlo’s direction. Arlo let out a yelp in pain, hissing at his skin burning painfully. “You little-” he groaned, now steadying himself, as he slowly got up from the floor.

Arlo shot a sharp glare. “You wanna tell me where the girl is?” He asked, the sound of his voice was filled with annoyance and frustration. Dean raised a brow at Arlo’s question, wondering who he was talking about.

“What Girl?” he asked, darting his eyes at Arlo, watching as the demon was trying his best not to attack the boys. Dean then gestured Sam to pass the holy water to him, which he obediently did, giving it to his older brother for some protection.

“Oh don't play coy with me” Arlo hissed, watching as his wounded skin started to fade back to normal. He gestured towards the picture of the missing pornstar they were looking for. Dean blinked, looking at the photo, he was confused, why would the demon need to know where a runaway pornstar was.

“Dude, we have no freakin’ clue where she is and we sure as hell aren't letting you near her”.

Arlo was not a fan of the answer, but before he could attack the Winchesters, a loud rustle and sliding came from behind Dean and Sam. The window opened with ease but a female voice did not seem too happy about the window.

“Shit, why the hell do these windows slide up?” she complained, climbing through it, making sure she wouldn't end up, as she stood up in her room, she looked up to see Dean and Sam.

“Uh…who the hell are you guys?” She questioned, checking the two hunters, trying to figure out who they were.

“You're alive?” was the first word that came out of Sam's mouth when he saw Diana, all healthy, not a single scratch on her, he couldn't believe it, the girl they both were trying to figure, was alive.

Diana raised a brow at the question, it sounded so weird, but between the boys, behind them she saw the familiar face of her contract demon, her eyes widened, she wasn't expecting to see him here.

The vivid flashbacks of his hellhounds tearing her body apart made her sick, something that she didn't want to remember.

Looking at the demon made her furious, she had a couple of years to live but only a demon like him could get so greedy for her soul. “You” she growled, now trying to find a weapon.

At the side of her table she found a baseball bat. Her limited edition one, where she had gotten signed by her favourite singer, but it was worth beating the living hell out of a demon with it.

She grabbed the baseball, now gripping it with both of her hands. She stood slightly, her heels digging into the carpet of her room, holding herself in the position to swing at the demon.

“Well, Diana, isn't it lovely to see you?” Arlo's sinister laugh echoes through the room, adding to the Jurassic situation.

“Oh, well it’s just lovely to see you too. But I prefer seeing you enough in Hell” She had noticed the holy water that Dean was holding in his hands, the risk of getting on her hands was high yet she didn't care.

She snatched the holy water and poured it all over her bat, careful that she wouldn't get any on herself. She then gave Dean back the holy water with a nod, before she glared at Arlo.

Arlo chuckled. “You think a baseball bat could really stop me, huh?” He said sarcastically, he then attacked the female but she had the upper hand. Hitting the demon across the cheek with the bat, letting the holy water burn his skin. Arlo screamed in pain, falling down on his knees.

“Strike! You're out!” She said as she held the baseball, yet the small droplets of the holy water came down to the handle to her skin causing her to drop the bat, letting out a small wince. “Fuck” she muttured. Sam then looked at her with a worried look. “Hey, you okay?” He asked.

“Never been better!” She exclaimed, she looked at her hand, she hoped it would heal by itself. The pink demon looked down at Arlo, who was still on his knees, trying to adjust to the burning sensation of the holy water through his skin. “I'll get you, I will” before the three of them would do anything, Arlo had disappeared, leaving them alone.

Diana was furious, she just let the demon who owns her soul, scott free.  She scoffed, trying her best not to destroy something. She dropped the bat, letting it roll across the floor. “Shit, almost had him” she muttered, running her fingers through her hair.

It was frustrating, to really find Arlo, he was a hard catch. She didn't know exactly where he went but she had hoped to find him soon enough.Dean was the first one to speak up. “Hold on, we thought you were dead" the older male said. Diana let out a scoff.

“Dead? Well does it look like I'm dead?” She questioned, now rummaging through her drawers. “Who the hell are you two and why are you in my room?” She questioned, now pulling out her pink lipstick, she started to apply it.

Sam cleared his throat. “I'm Sam and this is my brother, Dean, we're uh…here to see what happened, considering that your brother told us you've gone missing” Sam explained. Diana finished applying her lipstick.

“So what? You guys go and investigate crimes for a living?” She asked. Dean shrugged. “Yeah, something like that”

Great, another thing she would need to be dealing with, people who end up snooping around her business. She didn't respond, she leaned against the desk, crossing her arms against her chest. “Okay, well that's good for you both" she said. “I guess your official business is done" she hummed.

“Ha, I don't think it's done here, sweetheart. You wanna tell us who that demon was?” He asked.

Silence filled the room, it was an uncomfortable one, not that she needed the comfort of something loud now. She bit her lip. Trying to keep her story in, it wasn't for sharing but she couldn't get out of it.
