⚠️WARNING⚠️ Mentions of blood
Wsp, I don't even know what I did in this chapter. It took me over a week to finish because I was so busy, so it might be all over the place. Mb 😭

(Y/n) felt the hot water trickle down her hair, to her forehead, and down to her neck. Her one hand lay on the edge of the steaming pool, the other brushing through her wet, matted down white locks. Her light purple eyes pierced through the water, staring at her feet that were wrapped around each other, looking for any warmth. She still felt goosebumps, even while in the onsen.
After she had had the dream, (Y/n) had gone to the village's public hotsprings to think about the dream. She knew what this meant. Every time she had a dream like this, it always meant trouble. It happened with Kyojuro, and it's happening again.
(Y/n) groaned, running her fingers tenderly through her hair once more, muscles tensing as she raised her arms. She needed to figure out who was going to die. She had a dream like those, and someone she knew died. But who would it be? She had one of Kyojuro, and he died. She had one of a few random Corps members, and they died. So why did it show her? Surely she shouldn't die. Right?
Her paranoi growled deep inside her heart, right where the blood was pouring out in her fantasy. She imagined the thick crimson substance stringing between her fingers, then pouring from her mouth as she heaved, convulsing blood, clutching at her heart, only tearing herself apart more and more as she tried to grasp onto the last bit of life.
(Y/n) closed her eyes tightly, tears dribbling down her cheeks and making tiny ripples in the water below. Her fingers scratched the surface of which she had her back against. Her heart pounded, and her muscles throbbed. She opened her eyes and stood up. There were luckily gender hotsprings, and only a few older drunk women were hanging around in the hotsprings with (Y/n).
Sighing, (Y/n) grabbed her towel and wrapped it around her body, trekking into the small room around the corner of a wooden slab wall. She grabbed her clothes after drying off and dressed herself, ready to head back to her rented home. She put on her sandals, sauntering back home. Hopefully, Akio was there so she could share her concerns.

"(Y/n)! You had me worrying! I came back from patrol, and you were gone!" Akio cried, running up to (Y/n). She reminded her of Mitsuri, somehow. "And you're soaked!"
"I'm not soaked, I'm damp. I went to the local hotsprings for a few minutes, maybe an hour." (Y/n) folded her towel and walked into the backyard, Akio on her heels. "They have hotsprings? I'm in need of one of those!" (Y/n) hung her towel on the string hanging from two thin posts. "Yeah, it was comforting. They're separated by gender, which I was surprised by since they don't do that back at headquarters. There was a really cute girl there, too." She giggled.
Akio gasped. "What did she look like?" Snickering, (Y/n) described her. "White hair and beautifully large light purple eyes. She muscles were so big, and she had a six-pack! Her legs were so buff -" Akio stopped (Y/n) with a disappointed face. "You're describing yourself." (Y/n) chuckled. "You think so? Aw, thanks!" Akio blushed furiously and smacked the wall next to her. "Fuck you!"
The two girls laughed while walking inside. In the past day or two, (Y/n) had grown really attached to Akio. She was a kind brunette with large brown eyes. She had muscle and was always careful. Though she was almost two years older than her, she saw her as a good friend. But one thought lingered in the back of her head. What if she did die? What would happen then?

(Y/n) sat up, nudging Akio. "Ready?" Akio nodded. "Always."
