Chapter 5

A couple weeks after their date,Natasha's anger at Dhawal was slowly melting. Dhawal was finally smiling. Things were going wonderful except for one thing. Natasha was missing her brothers, including Chikku, as Raksha Bandan was coming up.

Natasha didn't say anything remembering how she wasn't supposed to tie a rahkri on her brothers that first rahsha bandan the first year she was married, she had used trickery to tie it on her brothers, and got Hetal Bhabi to tie it on her brother. She quietly bought all her rakhris and saved them in her cupboard. Dhawal had noticed the rahkris when he had looked in the cupboard. What she didn't know was that Dhawal had arranged for Sheesh and Mithu to be in town for Raksha Bandhan. As a surprise, he also got Chikku and Esha to come back to Somnath for the festival. He knew that Sheesh still kept in contact with Chikku, and he begged for their information. Finally, Sheesh relented and gave Dhawal their address. Dhawal and his brothers were hoping that this surprised would melt some of the tension in their home.

"Natasha, I have to go out of town today. I will try to make it back for dinner, I promise." said Dhawal as he packed a small bag.

"If you are coming back tonight, then why are you packing a bag?" asked Natasha, making Dhawal smile as Natasha was exerting her right on him as he wanted her to.

"Well, it's as a backup just in case I have to stay the night. I am hoping everything goes ok, and I will be back tonight." said Dhawal

"Are you going to Mumba?" asked Natasha

"No. Udaipur. I will call you later, love." As he gave her a kiss on the forehead, surprising her. Then he hugged and kissed Kiara. "Papa loves you."

"Papa," replied Kiara. Dhawal smiled as Kiara had recently started to call him Papa. He loved hearing her call him Papa. Natasha picked up Kiara and followed Dhawal down the stairs. He mentioned to everyone that he has to go to Udaipur, but he should be back by the evening.

Dhawal was away for the day, and Natasha was free to go to the office as Amrish wanted to spend time with the kids. Natasha had started coming to Dhawal's office after she officially shifted back to Somnath as Dhawal had an office in Somnath as well. He had kept the Mumbai office under the capable hands of his manager. Between both offices, Dhawal's business was booming. Amrish and Bhavin handled the construction business while Chirag was juggling between the two offices. Things had changed in the Makwana house since she last was there. She was happy with the change but sad that her family was lost. Sheesh and Mithu were now busy with their lives, and while she lived in Mumbai, she had kept a distance as she didn't want any reminders of Dhawal. She wished that her relationship with her brothers didn't have distance in it.

She arrived back home, and Kiara rushed towards her. "Baby, I missed you today. So you spent the day with your Bade Papa, huh? Did you have fun?"

Kiara babbled in her baby language. Natasha smiled and brought her up to her room, not knowing that Dhawal had already arrived.

"Baby, so you spent the day with your cousins and Bade Papa. Did you have a good time? Now it is Mumma and baby time. Your Papa didn't call, so I don't know if he's going to be home. So I will make dinner for just two of us. Just like we used to." said Natasha to Kiara

"Actually, for the three of us." said Dhawal, surprising Natasha as he walked out the washroom drying his hair.

"Dhawal, you're here? When did you come?" asked Natasha when she recovered from the surprise.

"Actually, not too long ago. I've already told Ma that we will be eating in our room." said Dhawal

"Ok. Keep Kiara entertained. I will make dinner. What would you like to eat?" asked Natasha
