It all happened so fast. The bright lights, the furious churning of cars, and shattering glass. It came out of no where, literally. One minute she was on the phone, the next....

The car had flipped so many times that Allison had become disorientated before she even sustained the concussion that had her drifting in and out of consciousness. She was fleetingly aware of the metallic taste in her mouth. The world kept flickering from bitter darkness to blinding white light. The only sound that filled her ears was the distinct crackles of her bones.

Than suddenly she was flying through the air, her broken body almost limp from the impact that occurred nanoseconds before. Silence. It frightened her. Shouldn't she be moaning or calling out? Fear lurched inside her stomach.

This was the end wasn't it.

She wasn't ready to go, ready to leave the world, her friends, family, pack mates and him.

Venom.

She had no doubt that Venom felt the impact of the injuries she had felt, maybe not physically but emotionally yes. Somehow she knew that this time, he wouldn't show up on time. He might know where she is but he wouldn't reach her in time, Allison knew that.

Her mind flashed back to the moment they first met, to when she had first caught a glimpse of him. He had the kind of face that made her heart beat stop, literally. His rich chocolate hair that had tousled griminess which was thick and lustrous complimented his mesmerizing deep ocean blue orbs that held flecks of sliver. Prominent cheekbones, muscular jawline and a well-defined chin and nose that graced his smooth flawless skin. He was tall, tan, lean and built in all the right places it should be illegal.

As if sensing her gaze, he turned from the men beside him halting their deep conversation and caught her eye; before she could turn away with shyness a genuine grin spread across his face, turning it from handsome into divine. In that moment she felt her body burst to life. In mere seconds, he had closed the gap between them, hauled her by the waist than crushed their lips together.

It was heaven, and a little bit of hell. Too bad her reflexes kicked in and she shot him. His face quickly melted from one of lust and desire to shock. She was shocked too, it was not her intent to purposely shoot a handsome stranger in the right thigh. Especially one she felt a heavy connection with.

Growls erupted in the air, it brought every piece of hair up on her body.

Werewolves.

It's not like she hadn't met one before, the opposite really. It took her off guard that realization dawned just moments after she shot him. Why hadn't she sensed them, the instant she saw them. The authority and power that radiated off them was overwhelming yet she couldn't pinpoint where the source came from.

Three men tried to attack her but she was ready. Her gun was out and her daggers within throwing distance. Before any of them could make a move, he jumped in front of her and released a murderous growl that had the males crawling back to their stations.

He protected her.

After she shot him, he protected her. A complete and utter stranger. Wait, that wasn't true. They had a connection, she just couldn't grasp it. He turned around, their gaze locked. His normally blue orbs were now almost completely sliver. His wolf was near. What was more bizarre, was when he inspected her for any injuries. All she could do was throw him a crazed look, she shot him, not the other way around.

Suddenly the scenery changed. She was running in the woods. Except she wasn't actually running. She was watching herself run, like it was a movie. She kept looking back as though someone was chasing her and someone was.
