"Mama wake up mama"
"You killed her"
"No.. Not me.. Not me.. Save mama please"
Blood was splattered everywhere... Her mother was drenched in it. Yet, she managed to smile at her before closing her eyes forever.
Anara woke up with tears streaming down her face.
"Mother... Please bring back mother"
Amish, who was sitting on the couch, rushed to her side with a look of concern. His heart ached at his sister's plea. He embraced her and gently rubbed her back, trying to calm her down."It's alright, my dear... It was just a bad dream. You're safe now."
"But mother," Anara's realization hit her as she returned to reality. The guilt and pain from the previous day still weighed heavily on her heart.
"Just try to relax," Amish pleaded. He knew that what happened had triggered his sister's traumatic memories. His jaw clenched in anger as he thought about their father.
How could he do this to his own daughter? It was all just an accident. She was just a child. Why did she have to suffer so much for something she didn't do?
"yeah, it was a dream" she stated
A horrible dream. However what was gone will never return.
Amish recived a phone call,Jack glanced at Anara, who gave him a comforting smile. She reassured him, "I understand you have tasks to attend to, you can leave now. I'll be okay."
"Are you certain, dear? There's nobody home at the moment. I hate leaving you here all by yourself," he inquired, his worry evident in his expression.
"I'm fine, brother," Anara responded, nudging him off the bed. She flashed a mischievous grin at him.
"Don't forget to bring me cupcakes" she asked.
"okay okay, i will go now" he said as he left from there.
Anara took a seat and attempted to immerse herself in a book, but the disturbing events from the previous day replayed in her thoughts, causing her unease.
Her father had coerced her into slicing a man's throat, an act she had never imagined doing.
The weight of being responsible for someone's death was overwhelming. Anara had always dreaded being labeled as a killer, especially since she had been accused of killing her own mother.
She took deep breaths in an effort to calm her racing emotions, but the memory of her mother's tragic passing was still fresh in her mind, leaving her feeling helpless.
Her train of thoughts broke when she heard sounds of gunfire, which seemed to be coming from downstairs.
What was happening?
Did someone broke into the mension?
But how? Given the tight security measures of the mension.Anara got up from the bed. She opens the drawer and pulled out a gun. She held it firmly. she is not a good shooter, she knows. But she is determined to defend herself.
Anara attempted to contact her siblings, but their calls went straight to voicemail. She also dialed her father, veransh, but he was unavailable as well.
What was happening? As her worry grew, she looked out the window in hopes of getting some answers, but there was nothing to see.
Finally, she made the decision to go downstairs and investigate for herself. Despite knowing it could be dangerous, her curiosity gets the best of her. She grasped the gun tightly.
The concern for her family pushed her forward. The mere thought of them made her heart race with anxiety.
She opened the doors with a deliberate slowness, only to find her vision met with emptiness. The air was filled with stillness and not a sound could be heard. She proceeded to make her way down the stairs.
As she made her way down the staircase, her gaze landed on a man with a frightening look on his face, seated on the couch. Beside him lay a machine gun, causing many questions to arise in her mind. The sight of blood on his formal attire only added to her emotions of anger and fear. Who was this mysterious figure and could he have committed a murder?
She stopped in her tracks, the man's gaze fixed on her. A smirk formed on his lips as he peered into her very soul.
"Who are you?" Anara demanded, aiming her gun at him.
He chuckled at her question before replying, "Your enemy and-"
The word "enemy" triggered Anara's quick reflexes and she immediately pulled the trigger. However, as always, she missed her target and the bullet hit the side of the sofa. The man's narrowed his eyes in response.
But Anara didn't give up. She continued to fire a series of shots at him, but he managed to dodge every single one effortlessly.
He glanced at her with a mocking expression.
"Here me out girl. I am your enemy but you can't kill me because i am also your husband"
He said with smirk you crossed his arms on his chest.
"Listen to me, my girl. Though we may be enemies, you cannot eliminate me. I am also your husband," he said with a sly grin, crossing his arms over his chest.
Anara felt a surge of anger upon hearing his words, attempting to shoot at him again but realizing she had run out of bullets. She watched as he chuckled, a sinister glint in his eyes as if taunting her.
"What the hell?" she cursed.
"You are quite fiesty, aren't you?its going to be fun to tame you" he remarked.
"Who the hell are you?" she shouted.
"Your husband, Aansh Malik," his eyes darkened as he disclosed his identity.
Aansh Malik, she is aware of his identity as the son of our adversary. Her silence betrays the multitude of queries swirling in her thoughts.
"Why are you here?" she finally managed to speak.
"Isn't it obvious, my dear? I've come to bring my wife back home," he replied with a wicked grin.
"What the hell! I am not your wife. You're insane. Where are my brothers and father? They'll kill you," she hurled curses and threats at him, despite the fear she manage to keep her expression firm.
"Enough of your foolishness," he snarled as he strode towards her. She attempted to flee to her room, but he was much quicker. He grabbed her by the arm and twisted it behind her back.
"You are in no position to threaten me, you feisty kitten," he growled in her ear.
"Let me go," she pleaded.
"I refuse to do so. Little kitten, you are merely a pawn in my game. Through you, I will inflict pain upon your family. I seek revenge against the Rathore family, and you will suffer the most in this twisted game of revenge. Are you ready, my dear?" he spoke with a deep and menacing voice.
Anara cried in fear and struggled to break free from his grasp, but he was far stronger. He dragged her downstairs against her will.
