Anara fought against his grip as terror consumed her. What did he have planned for her? Where was her family?

"Stop struggling, you fiesty girl. You're not going anywhere. You belong to me now," he growled, holding her tighter.

"I am not...I am not...I never got married," she fought back.

"But you did, my dear. You married me," he sneered.

Tears welled up in Anara's eyes as she stood there, numb with shock. Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice.

"He's right, Anara. You did marry him."

Her gaze shifted to the source of the voice and she saw her father entering the room with two guards trailing behind him. Were they there to protect him or to keep him in place? She couldn't be sure.

"Daddy, please save me! This man is speaking nonsense," she pleaded desperately.

"Be mindful of your words, Anara. He is your husband," Anara's father stated firmly, causing her to freeze in shock. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Tears welled up in her eyes as she questioned her father's statement.

"Daddy, why are you saying this?" she asked, trying to make sense of the situation.

"It's the truth, Anara," he replied as he pulled out some papers from his suit and handed them to her. Her eyes widened as she saw it was a marriage certificate with her signature on it.

Confusion and disbelief filled her mind. She had never signed any marriage papers. Did her father do this? But why would he do something like this to her? Despite their strained relationship, she was still his daughter. His own flesh and blood.

"But I didn't sign any marriage papers," she said with a broken voice, trying to come to terms with the shocking revelation.

“I made you sign them, dear daughter. Without your knowledge. This concerns the future of our business. Your father position in the mafia world. Can't you help me a little? Due to your poor performance in shooting skills or lack of knowledge of mafia world. You can't help me in my work. But i am giving you a chance to help us even when you can't join the mafia group. Can't you do this a little favour for your family?”

The cruel words of her father made her eyes shut in pain. She couldn't belive it. She can't became his wife. This men beside her is scary. His previous threats still rose goosebumps in her body. What will he do to her if she becomes his wife. And go with him? This mere thought made her scared.

“Daddy, i don't want to-”

She was cut off by veransh.

“She is yours now, you can take her”

Her father said to the men standing beside her still holding her arm.

“After today you can't get her back. Even if you want to. I can do anything i want to do with her. This deal is signed for life. And i will keep my promise to never interfere in your business anymore. Do you want to rethink your decision, Mr veransh rathore?”

Aansh asked. Her eyes blurs with tears as aansh glance at her for a moment and then averted his gaze.

"Daddy, you can't do this! I don't want to. Please, Daddy. Where are my brothers? Where are they?" Anara pleaded and cried in a panic, but her words had no effect on her father.

"They're not here. I sent them away for a few weeks so they wouldn't interfere with my deal," her father replied coldly. Anara's expression turned emotionless as she looked at him. Seeing her reaction, veransh felt uneasy and looked away.

Aansh grabbed her arm and dragged her outside, causing her some pain. She didn't react as he led her out, but before leaving, she glanced at her father one last time. He still didn't look at her as she was pulled away.

Aansh threw her onto the backseat of the car and sat beside her. The driver started the car.

Anara was numb as Aansh pulled her closer by her waist, causing her to struggle in his arms. He smirked, clearly enjoying her resistance.

"This is just the beginning. Your dad is so foolish to think I would forget all our years of rivalry just because he gave me his daughter. You're just a pawn for me to get my revenge," he spoke with a dark and terrifying expression.

Anara was confused. Did he deceive her father? She needed to contact her brothers, but before she could think any further, Aansh interrupted.

"And don't even think about reaching out to your family. I know that's what you're planning, but after today, you won't even be able to see them," he warned with a shiver-inducing tone.

Tears threatened to fall from Anara's eyes, but she held them back. She didn't want to show him any vulnerability.

She refused to let him harm her family and was willing to risk everything to protect them.

She promised herself that she will protect her family by any means. Her father was right, she didn't do anything for the family in the nineteen years of her life. But she will do now. She has to be strong. She will not cry anymore.
