The bank's lobby was a chaotic mess of overturned furniture, scattered papers, and frightened customers. Two criminals, faces obscured by balaclavas, hurriedly stuffed cash into duffel bags. Their hands shook with adrenaline as they bickered.
"Hurry up, will ya? The cops'll be here any second!" the first criminal urged his partner, his voice laced with agitation.
"I'm going as fast as I can! This bag's got a hole in it!" the second criminal grumbled, struggling with the duffel bag.
"Great, just what we needed," the first criminal rolled his eyes.
They burst out of the bank, their duffel bags bulging with stolen cash. They scrambled into a nondescript sedan, and the engine roared to life. They sped away from the scene, hearts pounding.
The interior of the police car was filled with the soft hum of electronics and the occasional radio crackle. A policeman seating and listen to radio when a hand reach from outside and touch him, before he could react his body began to tremble and he shaked violently. Then he became calm and told to himself "Time for a little fun Kenji." As he smirks to himself. A completely different person or rather a soul.
His eyes flickered with a mischievous glint as he checked his reflection in the rearview mirror. He adjusted the rearview mirror to get a better look at the two panicked criminals in the backseat of their car, squirming uncomfortably.
The police car pulled out of an alley and started trailing the getaway car. The criminals glanced nervously at their rearview mirror, seeing the police car in hot pursuit.
"Is that cop really following us?" the first criminal frantically asked.
"Yeah, and he's right on our tail!" the second criminal stammered.
The getaway car swerved around corners, trying to shake off the police car. The chase became increasingly frenetic, with screeching tires and sharp turns.
Kenji expertly maneuvered the police car with a mix of precision and theatrical flair. He used the police radio to update dispatch in an exaggeratedly calm tone.
"Dispatch, this is Unit 23. We've got a couple of rather jittery individuals attempting to elude the law. Requesting permission to engage in a high-speed chase with a side of lighthearted banter," Kenji reported, chuckling to himself.
The police car pulled up alongside the getaway car. Kenji rolled down the window, shouting out to the criminals.
