It was finally time as team shibito walked up the road to konoha's main gate with fuu and Gomi staring up at the walls in awe but shibito and y/n were looking straight ahead. "Y/n why aren't you excited about this? We are entering one of the big hidden villages?" Gomi asked as y/n glanced at him out of the corner of his eye. "Seen one wall seen them all." Y/n said bluntly when they got to the gate to find two chunin stamping papers as they walked up. "Greetings we are from the hidden waterfall village to participate in the chunin exams." Shibito said and the guard looked up and held out his hand and shibito placed their forms in his hand while y/n stepped over to the second guard and spoke in his altered voice. "This guy is now your problem." Y/n said as he set a scroll infront of the guard as the guard picked it up he frowned because on the scroll was the name mizuki. Before the guard could speak y/n slipped a small note to the guard with the taki ninja didn't notice. The guard picked up the note and read it before nodding slightly at y/n before hiding the note. "Thank you for him." Y/n nodded as they were allowed in and headed to the hotel.

Y/n stayed hidden in the hotel room until the first exam and it was pretty easy to walk past the geinjutsu on the second floor but y/n had to slap Gomi on the back of the head when the guy tried to speak up. "Shut it we have enough problems as it is." Y/n scolded as he lead the team past the crowd and y/n saw naruko leading her team up the hallway and that she was wearing the outfit that he bought for her needless to say it took his breath away watching her walk towards the direction of the actual test with confidence. Y/n turned his head and thanked God he was wearing a mask to hide the blush on his face. After entire the exam hall y/n went and sat down at his spot as people galred at him in attempt to scare him as he scoffed. 'They aren't scarier then snake.' Y/n thought to himself but he kept listening to the konoha group and was pissed by what Kabuto had so easily rattled of and y/n decided to slightly break cover as Ibiki walked in. "Shut up and sit down!!!" Ibiki commanded as everyone sat down. "Welcome my name is Ibiki morino and I'm the proctor for the first exam. Each team will start off with ten points and you will lose one if you get a question wrong. You have two hours you may begin." Ibiki said as all the participants flipped over their tests. Y/n looked at the test and sighed as he quickly filled out each question as it was rather easy since he was in anbu.
Y/n glanced to his right to see Ibiki stopping in his patrol and look towards him so y/n slipped his hand to where Ibiki could see and sure enough Ibiki noticed the movement and y/n started going through one handed anbu signals. 'kabuto yakushi has managed to acquire mission records. Believe to be a spy and traitor. Don't break my cover.' Y/n signed as Ibiki's eyes widened just slightly before settling down and made the same discreet anbu signals. 'Who are you and who do you know our signals?' Ibiki signed as y/n rolled his eye and made the appropriate sign. 'Wolf.' Ibiki took a deep breath and turned and continued to walk his route.

"Alright pencils down!" Ibiki commanded as y/n glanced around seeing several people groaning as they couldn't finish their tests. "Quiet!! Now before I give you the tenth question I have to inform you that if you get it wrong you will never be able to retake the chunin exams." Ibiki said as the room erupted in protest as a blonde from the sand stood up. " Then what in the hell was the other nine questions for?!" She yelled as y/n rolled his eyes but said nothing as Ibiki's explained that it was to test their information gathering skills. "Enough talking now decide! Are you going to take the tenth question and risk failure or will you leave!" Ibiki roared as y/n smirk.
