Soul ran over to Maka as fast as his legs would allow. Maka was screeching in agony and pain, crying for help. Soul jerked Blackstar off of her and shoved him harshly. "You think it's okay to treat anybody like that?" Soul shouted at Blackstar. Blackstar cracked his knuckles and smirked wildly, "Soul, you aren't looking to fight me, are you, you cocky bastard."
Soul nodded his head,
"I'd fight anyone for Maka." He stated towards the assassin
"You shark toothed albino, shut the fuck up!" Blackstar replied with a devilish laugh. Maka's sobs could be heard behind Soul as his stood in front of her. Blackstar held his nose in the air and pointed towards Maka.
"You see that whiny brat? That's my girlfriend. And I don't have to love her cpbecause she knows if she ever leaves the relationship, I'll kill myself!" Blackstar chucked sweetly until he walked silently over to Maka, grabbing her by the cheek in a vile way. " you whore, it's not okay to cheat on your boyfriend with other boys." Tears stung in Maka's eyes whilst she tried to nod to the best of her ability. Soul turned around quickly to hear black stars rude words to his soul mate. Without thinking he ran over to the two, and punched Blackstar square on the forehead "I won't let you touch her! I.....Love her" Blackstar laughed once more "Oh you LOVE HER...? Don't be surprised when the one you love starts to cheat on you soul!"
Maka coughed up a ton of blood before she spoke in a cackling voice.
"I..I-I'd nev-... I would never aban..abandon my.. S-soul" she shivered. Soul scooped her up quickly and shot an angered look at Blackstar. He kissed Maka's forehead and whispered in her ear, "I will always keep you safe." He assured her, letting her soft pigtails. Maka looked up at him with two bruised eyes, and cuts and bruises all over. It pained soul to see her like this.
"Soul..." Maka spat
"Yes maka?"
"Let's go home."
Maka and Soul cuddled all night without interruption. Maka slept on his chest as soul twirled her hair till he fell asleep. At Blackstars home however, the only things on his mind were:
"They will be mine. Both of them,"
Today everyone met up at the Death City Park, which wasn't too crowded at the p moment. Soul and Maka stayed close together, Maka could barely see out of either eye, they had swollen up. Blackstar gazed at Soul for about four minutes before he muttered under his breathe.
"Tsubaki... Enchanted sword mode. Now."
