You sit in the studio with your headphones on as you play the beat back to yourself. You had just published the your first hit, 'Kehlani'. You were inspired by your current friend to make the song.
As you pressed pause on the song, you hear the door open to the studio. You look up seeing your Kehlani walking in holding a cup of liquor in her hands as she smokes her infamous 'girl blunt'. a mixture of lavender, rose petals, and other herbs that made her feel relaxed.
Her beige skin shinned under the blue led lights you had around the studio. Every tattoo being highlight, especially your favorite one her sunflower tattoo. She takes a seat in your lap removing the ear phones from your ears.
"What are you working on?" Kehlani asks as she sips from her cup.
"Hopefully the remix to my new song." You answer as lays on your chest, "You wanna jump on the remix?"
"Babe you want me on the remix?" Kehlani asks raising up in excitement.
You press play on the hit as Kehlani sits besides you, "I think you'd be great on this remix, I mean the song is about you anyway." You admit as you look over at her with dreamy eyes.
She looks back over at you biting her lip, "You wrote this song about me?"
"Yes." You admit again as you press play on the record letting her hear it. As she listens to the song she bobs her head getting the feel of the song. You bob your head with her snapping your fingers to the beat.
Her love inspires you to write the song. Even though her and you had never established anything in that way, the two of you would always hang out and you could happily say you were catching feelings for her.
"I like this babe, when you record this?" Kehlani asks.
"Like a couple weeks ago, I published it like a week ago." You answer as you turn down the music.
"You really want me to get on this?" Kehlani asks smiling ear to ear.
"Yes the song is meant for you." You say.
"Okay." She nods as she stands up. You take the cup of liquor from her as she enters the booth putting the headphones on. You watch her giving her a head nod as you start to play the beat in her earphones.
She begins to freestyle over the beat, "I like a bitch that's match my energy, act like she into me." As she repeats the line she looks dead at you.
You bob your head at the lyrics as she continues to spit, "Tell the world you mine and you not what these bitches been to me."
You sip from her cup hissing at the taste of tequila. It wasn't your preferred drink, but it'll do for the moment.
Kehlani pauses her singing as she steps out the studio, "How does that sound so far baby?"
"It sounds amazing." You says complimenting her lyrics, "You need a bitch that's into you huh?"
"Yes." She answers as she comes over getting between your legs bending down giving you a sweet kiss. She pecks your lips multiple times, "You specifically."
"Mmhm." You say against her lips, "You inspire me baby."
"Well let me inspire you to finish this song for me." You say pushing her back. You point towards the studio.
She steps back into the studio bobbing her head to the music once again. She parts her lips singing, "It's plenty of fishes in the sea, I need me the biggest freak. Step out like my wife, but bust me down like she my enemy."

"Make it yours then baby." You say into the microphone over taking the best in her headphones.
"How long you been feeling like this?" Kehlani ask as she comes back out the studio.
"For a while now." You answer as you take another sip of her tequila.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Kehlani ask as she scoots closer in the black chair. She scoots in between your legs again looking deep into your eyes, "I feel the same way too."
A smile creeps on your face, "Really?"
"Yes, you just inspired my whole verse on this song. It's dedicated to you." Kehlani smiles, "Let me take you out."
