"It's been long enough, Kion," He says..."What?""You need to wake up, Kion," The voice says."I am awake," Kion says."You're not. You need to go home, Kion. The Tree of Life needs you, the Pride Lands need you," The voice echoes.Kion stands up and looks around. It's all gray, there is nothing to the world, everything around him is grey. He looks down, and all of his wounds are gone; it's all gray.

"Where do I go?" he shouts."Home..." The voice says.Kion begins to tear up,

"That doesn't help!" He screams as tears roll down his face.

"Where am I!" he cries.Mufasa comes out of a wall of smoke, the smoke moves out of the way for Mufasa, "Kion...." The voice, now familiar to Kion, makes him stop tearing."Mufasa!" Kion says, running to him, hugging him by bumping his head against his.

"Your time isn't up, Kion. You must return," Mufasa says."Where are we," Kion says, his breath raspy. He feels like something is in his throat.

"We are neither here nor there. We are still alive... well, you are still alive, Kion," Mufasa says before backing up."What?" Kion says, confused."Kion, wake up," Mufasa says, but not in his voice."What?" Kion says, again, sniffling."Kion, wake up, man," Mufasa says, now, in the voice of Shido. Then, Mufasa disappears, and everything turns black.

Kion's ears are ringing, and his eyelids feel dry against his eyes. His tail wrapped in something, cutting his circulation. He has pins and needles all over his body. His throat hurts so much. Kion slowly opens his eyes, he looks up, not moving his head, at Shido. He's covered in dry blood; his snout is leaking blood from his nostrils. Shido's mane looks magged, ruined, terrible... Shido looks terrible.

"Kion, get up," Shido says."O-okay," Kion says, putting his paws flat on the ground. He barely struggles to get up; He gets up with ease. He looks around, seeing the lions from what feels like months ago, the lioness in the corner, to the two standing at the entrance."Well, good morning, sleepyhead," Jake says, walking towards Kion.Kion looks down, now noticing his paws, hips, and tail are wrapped and tied in vines against the wall. He still has room to walk and move, but its like he is chained to a little spot in this cave. He looks over at Shido, the same situation-Jake is now only feet away from Kion and Shido, "I've never seen someone take so much medicine and still look like shit, even after weeks," Jake says.Kion's ears perk up, "Weeks?" He says nervously. He looks over at Shido, "It's been weeks?" Kion asks.Shido nods, "Yeah, you've been in and out of consciousness. I've tried to talk to them, and they haven't let me leave even since they found me in the ice, which was long ago. Kion, I think they are gonna kill us."

"Not exactly, Jake says before turning around. He picks something up from the ground with his mouth. Then, Jake turns back around and drops it in front of Kion and Shido, "You guys will be doing the killing, except, since you both know each, this makes things more interesting. So, the one who kills the other with this sharp stone gets to leave, simple as that," Jake says, turning around and walking out. Before he leaves, he turns to the lioness. "Come and get me when it's done."

She nodes as he leaves.

Kion looks up at Shido, "What the actual **** is happening," Kion says, hyperventilating.

Shido looks over at Kion, the weak gold lion covered in cloth and blood. Shido walks over to the knife-like stone and picks it up. "I'm sorry, Kion," Shido says with it in his mouth. He walks over to Kion.Kion is confused, scared, hurt, and lost. He looks at Shido as he walks over to him. At this point, Kion just accepts his fate. He closes his eyes... Then he hears the rock drop in front of him, the edge hits his paw.

He looks up at Shido, "Kion, you gotta Kill me and get back to the others. It's been way too long since you've been here," Shido says.Kion looks down at the knife and then back up at Shido, "It's too late," Kion shakes his head."What, what do you mean?"
