It was the 1st day of year 11 in California academy as usual I went to chuck my stuff in my locker my eyes were locked on my phone so I missed someone opening their locker and as they did I walked straight into the door spilling my books all over the floor.
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry" the senior behind the locker said as he bent down to help me get my books he reached out his hand to pull me up when I saw his face I almost paralyzed in shock it was James themost popular and hottest senior in the school he smiles at me as he pulls me up I start going red he asks whether I would like him to walk with him to English I completely speechless struggle to get out the words "yes..." I stutter as i turn to face him he just leaned in his dry lips connected with mine my brain started flooding with question what would someone like James kiss a nobody like me

As I pulled away from Daniel the late bell went "shit" I whispered "come on Daniel we got to run" I went diving down the hall only after realising Daniel was fixed to the spot "Daniel are you coming then" "y..yes" Daniel says shell shocked I grab his hand and dragged him to English
As we opened the door Mrs silex was calling out names in the register
"Alexis"
"Yes Mrs"
"Adam"
"Yes mrs"
"Daniel Hughes"
"Yes Mrs"hollered daniel
"Mr storme ;Mr Hugh why are you so late?" Droned Mrs silex in a monotone voice she was always like this never excited never sad just a neutral expression like she got the part of her brain that controls emotions surgically removed at birth "sorry Mrs I lost my English book and James helped me find it" Daniel exclaimed before I could think of an excuse "seeing as both of you have a spotless attendance record I will overlook it just this once" Mrs silex sneered "Nathaniel"
"Yes mrs"
Once Mrs silex had finished the roll call she set us some work
"OK class get into pairs and open your books you have a dictionary and thesaurus in your pairs as you currently working on dystopian fiction your task is to create a faction of your own one suggestion may be repentant the reconciliation faction they much like amity are peaceful but they are the counselling faction if there is a problem repentant will resolve it"
I glance around for Daniel as I spot him he comes stumbling over to me as I pull out a chair for him he whispers in a hushed tone me "so why did you kiss me?"
