"So you were texting him last night." Dejah asks. "Yeah, we basically made plans to take pictures together," I say. "Aweeee that is so cute. We will make sure to clear out of the way on the red carpet the second he shows up" Imani says. We all laugh and continue talking until my mom walks in with my sister, Sasha. "Girls come and gather around." my mother said. We all go over and wait for my mom to explain. "Sasha has been so kind to design some dresses for you girls to wear to the movie premier." my mom says. Sasha smiles and then waves someone in. three girls come in with three racks of dresses. "You each are gonna wear a light purple dress." my mom says. I sigh. I really was worried about this. I knew that any dress my mom and dad would say something negative about it. I decided to text my sister.
Tamaya: Sis I wish you were here😭
Jay: What did mom and dad do now?🙄
Tamaya: Sasha designed dresses for us for the premier and I already know mom and dad are gonna say something negative about each one I try on.
Jay: Don't worry. I am on the way! I won't let them dog you out!
Tamaya: Really?
Jay: yeah you know I will always have your back. Give me 15 minutes.
Tamaya: I love you so much. Thanks sis. See you soon.❤️❤️❤️
I was about to put my phone down when I saw a message from sebastian. I immediately smile. I open the message.
S: Hey I hope you are having a good day
I smile and text him back
T: I am trying to. We are trying on dresses for the movie premier and I am a little worried about how I will look in these dresses.
S: I am sure any dress you put on will look amazing on you.
S: From the pictures I have seen in the past you have never had a miss
T: well thank you I appreciate that!
S: No problem. Do you know what color?
T: LIght purple
S: Interesting...
T: Is there a problem
S: not at all sweetheart
S: just thinking about how good light blue and light purple go together
T: ???
T: ohhhh wait is your suit light blue
S: it is indeed
T: lol I don't know how it will go together but I guess we will see
S: I'm sure we are gonna look good no matter what we are wearing
T: you sound confident
S: cuz I am
T: well that's good to know
T: I would love to keep texting but I gotta pick out my dress.

S: for sure! Remember you will look beautiful in anything.

I put my phone down and I go to the racks of dresses to see if I find anything I like. Jayla walks in and says hi to Sasha and our mom. "What a nice surprise! What are you doing here sweetie?" our mom asks. "I am here to support T and help her find something that works for her," Jayla says. Our mom made a face but covered it up with a fake smile. "Well aren't you just a great sister!" our mom says. "I am, aren't I?" Jayla says with a smirk and then walks over to me. "Hey sis!" I smile. Jayla greets me and we catch up then I show her the dresses. "Well try them on, let's get this show on the road!" Jayla claps. I smile and turn. I go to the bathroom and try on the first dress. I came out in the first dress.
