2 Weeks Later...

"Yes, baby," Indigo said, holding the phone close to her ear, her voice filled with warmth. "I'll be home for your birthday, and I'm bringing Unkie Stevey and Auntie Nat with me."

She couldn't help but laugh as she heard Gracie's excited squeal. Indigo glanced over to see Steve motioning for the phone. With a playful roll of her eyes, she handed it to him.

"You know I'd never miss your sixth birthday, Grace," Steve said, his voice brimming with affection.

Indigo turned to see Natasha smiling up at Steve, her eyes twinkling with shared happiness. Nat quickly took the phone from Steve's hand, her expression eager.

"So, what have you and Mo been up to?" Nat asked, her tone light and curious.

Indigo gave Natasha a questioning glance, noticing Nat's reaction as she gasped softly.

"Wow," Nat said, grinning at Indigo. "I bet Uncle Tony will be really excited to see your wall art."

Indigo chuckled at Nat's enthusiasm and quickly took the phone back from her.

"Okay, baby, mommy loves you so, so much," Indigo said, her voice tender and full of emotion.

"I love you, mommy," Gracie replied warmly. "Do you think you'll be home soon?"

Indigo's heart ached as she spoke. "I'll be home quicker than you think, Gracie James," she said, her voice tinged with both sadness and hope. She missed her daughter more than words could express.

"Okay, mommy, I've gotta go now," Gracie said with a laugh. "Mo wants to go play in the leaves."

"Okay, baby, have fun," Indigo said, her voice lightening with a smile. She hung up the phone, feeling a bittersweet mix of joy and longing.

She looked up at Nat and Steve, her eyes reflecting the weight of her emotions.

"Can you believe she's turning six?" Indigo said, her voice soft with nostalgia.

"Nope," Steve replied, shaking his head. "She's still a little baby in my eyes."

They turned and walked back into the conference room, their footsteps echoing on the polished floor. Indigo glanced up at the holograms of the Infinity Stones projected on the screen, the flickering images casting a blue glow across the room.

The team had been tirelessly working on pinpointing the right times and places to jump back to, and it had proven to be the most intricate part of their plan.

Indigo's mind drifted back to their discussions: Thor had gone on about Jane and the Aether, his grief palpable. It was hard for her to watch someone she cared deeply about struggle with such intense pain. Then Rocket had provided insight on the Power Stone, while Nebula had shed light on the Soul Stone.
