Fast forward to the summer of 2025 was proving to be a season of surprises, not least because Jungkook was finally back from his mandatory military service. His discharge had been one of the most anticipated events in the K-pop industry, with fans eager to see what direction he would take now that he was free to return to the stage.

The live stream happened on a warm Saturday evening, with Jungkook casually sitting in his cozy living room, chatting with fans.

The stream was meant to be a casual catch-up session with ARMYs, where he shared snippets about his time in the military, upcoming projects, and plans for the future. He also took song requests, performing acoustic versions of his favorite tracks, his voice as captivating as ever.

The fans were overjoyed to see him again, sending in comments and hearts that flooded the chat. Jungkook smiled, responding to questions and joking with the viewers.

About halfway through the stream, Jungkook stood up to grab his guitar from across the room. As he did, he revealed something that caught the eagle-eyed fans' attention: a medium sized yellow Labubu doll on the couch behind him.

The chat exploded with comments, speculating wildly about the meaning behind the doll. Fans quickly linked it to his rumored relationship with Lisa, with yellow representing her favorite color, and her weird obsession with that doll. Jungkook returned to his seat, glanced at the comments, and noticed the frenzy he had unintentionally caused.

With a knowing smile and a soft chuckle, Jungkook addressed the viewers. "Wow, I see you all noticed something," he said, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "You guys are always so observant. And hey, that doll isn't ugly, that's really mean. It's.... interestingly cute. And no, it's not mine, someone left it here, but, you know, some things are just meant to keep you guessing."

He left it at that, refusing to confirm or deny anything further, and smoothly transitioned back into playing another song. But the damage—or excitement—was already done. Screenshots of the doll and Jungkook's coy response spread like wildfire across social media, reigniting the long-standing rumors of his relationship with Lisa.

Fast forward a few days, and Jungkook was seated on the plush couch of a popular variety show, with the host eagerly diving into questions that fans had been pondering for months. The air buzzed with excitement, and the studio audience was packed with devoted ARMYs who had been waiting for this moment for nearly two years. The host pressed on, undeterred. "There are rumors about you and a certain member of Blackpink. Should we be expecting any announcements?"

At the mention of Blackpink, the audience erupted into a chorus of excited gasps and murmurs. Jungkook's relationship with Lisa had been the subject of speculation for years, fueled by their stolen glances and unmistakable coincidences, but neither had ever commented anything regarding each other.

Jungkook looked at the audience, then directly into the camera, his expression turning more serious. "Lisa and I actually have always been pretty close," he said, choosing his words carefully. "But....." he smiled shyly, knowing that he just said her name on national television.

The studio went silent, surprised that he just dropped a name that no one has ever directly mentioned. Everyone was hanging onto his every word. Even the host was stunned by his boldness. Jungkook continued, "I can't say too much, my apologies." he chuckled.

The host raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "So, are you telling us you're taken?"

Jungkook laughed, a soft, genuine sound. "Let's just say I'm very happy right now."

The internet went into a frenzy as clips of the interview spread across social media platforms. Armies and Blinks alike dissected every word, every expression, every laugh, searching for clues. Fan forums buzzed with theories and debates, the most popular of which revolved around the possibility that Jungkook and Lisa were indeed secretly engaged.

It wasn't long before fans noticed other hints. Jungkook had been spotted wearing a simple silver band on his ring finger during several of his public appearances. He also shared an Instagram post with the caption, "To new beginnings," accompanied by a photo of a stunning sunset over Seoul, a yellow tulip could be seen resting on the ground.

Lisa, too, seemed to be subtly hinting at something more. She had posted a cryptic message on her Instagram story just days after Jungkook's interview, writing, "Some secrets are worth keeping." Her words were paired with a photo of her hand resting on a table, adorned with a matching silver band, but with a glittering diamond in the middle.

The timing of these posts, combined with Jungkook's comments, fueled speculation. Fans began to wonder if these were not just coincidences but deliberate clues, carefully placed for those willing to look beyond the surface.

As the days went by, the excitement continued to build. In an unexpected twist, Jungkook announced a surprise fan meeting to celebrate his return. It was a personal event, only for his devoted fans. I think it's time to let you in on a little secret, because I know the people here are the people who understand me the most, and will support me no matter what."

He hesitated, the moment stretching with anticipation. Then, with a soft smile, he said, "I'm engaged."

The revelation was met with a stunned silence, quickly followed by an eruption of cheers, applause, and happy tears from the fans. Jungkook's smile widened, his eyes filled with warmth as he watched their reactions.

Before the cheering could die down, Jungkook added, "Yes, it's true. I'm engaged to someone who means the world to me. She's talented, strong, and the most wonderful person I've ever met. She's been my rock," Jungkook said, emotion lacing his words. "And I'm grateful every day for her love and understanding, and yours too. What I told you guys today is the testament to how much I truly trust you all. Most of you must've known who she is already, so please don't spread the word, yet. Not until she's ready," he concluded his confession.

As the fan meeting continued, Jungkook answered questions, sang some of his beloved songs, and shared heartfelt moments with his fans. He didn't put her name out there yet, but the atmosphere was filled with happiness and the promise of a new chapter in his life.
