It was in the early morrow when Cerys grew anxious about her departure to the North. She had bid Rhaenyra, and her nephews farewell and awaited for Jace in the Dragon pit. Surely, she wasn't alone and was accompanied by guards. No dragon was in sight, and she felt grateful for it.

"My apologies for being late."

Cerys turned around to see her eldest Nephew, accompanied by Baela who had her sachel for supplies, and a compact luggage for clothing.

"Baela has agreed to accompany us"

He said with a smile, as Baela embraced Cerys.

"I am glad"

Cerys replied while beaming, returning the hug from Baela.

The dragons, Vermax and Moondancer were summoned; and Cerys felt frightened by their grand size. She felt Baela's hand gently grip hers.

"It will be alright, they will not harm you"

Baela reassured, bringing her closer to both dragons.

"Let's hope"

Jacaerys teased while Baela bore a disapproving look at the boy who showed no sympathy. Cerys, frightened, found it difficult to approach Vermax due to his roars; Moon dancer growled at Vermax, ushering him to the side followed by their loud stomps. Dust was in the air after several heavy movements made by the beasts, until Baela and Jace were able to control them.

Moondancer lowered her face down towards both the girls, seemingly as if bowing to the princess in respect.

"It seems Moondancer prefers you."

Baela informed Cerys, who gave a frightened smile, her hand gingerly touching the rough scales of the beast that stood before her.

"Baela, I'm frightened!"

Cerys shouted through the roars of the dragons as they began to ready themselves for the sky. Cerys gripped her arms over Baela's waist for safety, feeling as if the restraints weren't enough to secure her.

"It will be alright!"

Baela shouted back, smiling as Moondancer readied her wings for flying. After shared roars between both dragons and without a warning, both soared to the sky. Cerys could hear herself screaming as she clung to Baela's waist. She could almost feel tears trying to escape her eyes before the oncoming pressure ceased.

"You can open your eyes now, Cerys"

Baela shouted to the girl clinging desperately to her waist. Cerys didn't realize she had kept her eyes sealed shut and reluctantly opened them. She was in disbelief to see Kings Landing gradually disappear below the swirling clouds.

After a while, Cerys grew confident and released her grip on Baela. She reached her arms up into the air, enjoying the wind pushing against her body.

Baela gathered more firewood for Moondancer to light for the night. Jacaerys was building the tents while Cerys fixed up a stew.

"When will we arrive at Winterfell?"

Cerys asked while stirring the pot of vegetables.

"Possibly tomorrow, if not, the day after"

Jace replied, hammering the last nail in. Cerys sighed, while she let the soup boil.

"I will go for a stroll now"

She announced, sitting upright from the wooden log and straightening her pants and cloak. The heavy layers made it difficult to sit comfortably, so standing was preferable, hoping a walk could clear her mind.
