Jessies POV
When we got to the mall, it took us about 10 minutes to find a parking spot.
"We can shop for as long as you like. I can buy you anything you want." Alex stated after getting out and opening the door for me. He held the entire time walking up to the front entrance like I was five.
"Ok. Im not five you know. You don't have to treat me like it." I pulled my hand out of his grip and took a few steps from him.
"I know. I just don't want you to have a chance to run off." He closed the distance and wrapped his arm around my waist possesively causing my wolf to growl at the touch of another man.
"I won't. I already told you I gave up fighting." I looked at him as he glarred daggers at two guys who had been checking me out. I couldn't blame them. I mean I was in a pencil skirt and a super tight light blue shirt with lace on the hem of it. I was also wearing five inch high heels. Choosen by none other then Alex, in fact my whole outfit had been picked out by him.
"Good. You are mine, with or with out his claim on you." the way he said "his" made me let out a laugh which earned a glare from him.
We had been at the mall for atleast two hours, probably more. I had to block Austin out after a while when his constant reminders of our plan started giving me a headache.
"Would you like to go to the food court and get something to drink or eat?" Alex said looking at a map. he was carrying about six bags and so was I. He refused for me not to buy something after I pointed it out.
"Sure. Im dying for a Chai latte." I decided it was time to execute me and Austins plan.
We reached the food court and me and Alex were waiting to buy some coffee and a donut. It was finally our turn and I went to order and Alex pulled me back and asked what I wanted.
"A chai latte and a glazed donut please." He nodded and turned around to order.
"A Chai latte, a mango smoothie and two glazd donuts." I couldn't quite hear what the lady said but she was flirting with him I could tell. He just paid and we waited for our order. a minute or so later she came back with our drinks and donuts. I quickly ate my donut but hadn't taken a single drink form my large latte, not sure why he got me a large. Oh well.
"I have to go to the restroom. I will meet you right here, ok?" I stood up and set the small bag I was holding down.
"Alright. I will be waiting. Do you want me to hold your drink for you?" He slowly reached his hand out for my drink
"No I will take it with me. It will be fine." I swatted his hand away. I wanted something to drink on the way home and I didn't feel like making Austin buy me something after he came all this way to get me.
"Ok. I will be here." He leaned back in the chair as I turned to walk away. I found the bathrooms and headed for them. I knew he was watching me even in this crowd.
I was pretty close to the bathroom and took a sharp left turning to the back doors. I felt a lot of guys eyes on me most the time I ignored it. If a guy stopped and asked me for my number I would either just keep walking or write 'fuck off pervert' on a peice of paper and run off.
I got outside and smile widly. I needed to contact Austin. I took the first sip of my drink and was grateful it was still hot.
"Austin. Guess what I just did!"
"Jessie! Oh thank god. I couldn't reach you. I thought I had lost you or something."
"Sorry about that. I started to get a headache. You were talking to me in my head and Alex was talking to me. and there was a bucnh of talking happening around me so I had to block you out for a bit."
"Its fine. Just as long as you are ok. Are you outside? Is everthing ok?"
"Yes im fine. Im outside. Im at the back Im walking to the front right now."
"How about me meet at the left side of the building. I am there right now."
"Ok. Im about halfway to the left side. I will see you soon."
"I love you."
"I love you to"
That was the last thing said before I blocked everyone out. I took another drink of my latte as I turned the corner and saw Taylor and Kyle sitting in their cars. Then I noticed a black sports car and Austin leaning against the drivers door.
I slipped off my shoes picked them up and ran to Austin.
"Austin!!!" Thats all I could get out. He turned and looked at me and dropped his car keys which he had been playing with and ran to me and hugged me in a bone crushing hug.
"Ok. Ok. I get it. your happy to see me. But must you squeeze the life out of me?" He let go of me and smiled down at me.
"I love you so much. I never should have left your side the other day." He looked angry with him self for lettitng me get taken. I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my head on his chest.
"Its not our fault. I should have felt him coming but I didn't. I was stupid and let my guard down." He pick me up and swung me around causing to drop my shoes and almost my drink.
"I know you won't give up if I argue so I won't." I was about to say something when he crashed his lips on mine taking full control of the kiss. I kissed him back loving the feeling I got when we touched.
He pulled back and laugh. I looked at him weirdly as we walked over to his car. He had his arm around my waistas we walked to his car.
"You taste like a latte." I couldn't help but blush. I remembered my shoes were still on the ground a few feet away. I looked over at Austin picking up his keys.
"I left my shoes over there. Im gonna go get them." I pointed over to where my shoes were. Austin nodded and got into his car as I walked over to get my shoes. When I got in the car, a growl erupted from Austins chest. I followed where his eyes were looking and saw Alex standing there, his eyes pitch black.
Austins POV
When Jessie got in the car I saw Alex turn the corner and he noticed Jessie in the car. I noticd his eye color shift from a brown to pitch black. I unconsicousley let out a growl.
I heard Jessie scream and I looked over at her. She had already seen Alex and I guessed it wasn't her intention to scream. After her scream left her mouth she covered her mouth and slightly whispered something I couldn't hear.
"Stay in the car." I used my Alpha tone on her not meaning to. She quickly buckled her seat belt. I got out and Taylor and Kyle did the same. We walked over to him with me in front and Taylor and Kyle ready to help at any time.
"What do you want?' I was acting completely calm although my wolf was yelling at me to rip his head off.
"Oh just what rightfully belongs to me. Ah I see her over in your car." He looked over my shoulder at Jessie. I stepped in his way of looking at her.
"She is my mate. Not yours. She is going with me. Not you. Im not forcing her to marry me. You are. Now leave before I make you." I growled most of what I said. He just laughed at my threat.
"I would like to see you try to get me to leave. I will take her with me." He tried to step around me but I stopped him and shifted finally letting my wolf take over.
