So you don't go scratching your head wondering what the hell's going on, this episode deals with two seemingly different cases, both investigated simultaneously, and eventually they are found to be connected with each other. Try to keep up with both and enjoy!!!
Nighttime in Los Angeles, CA. At the Hauser & Wirth Art Gallery, an unidentified male walks out of an unknown area and stumbles upon a woman laying dead on the floor in a pool of blood. Realizing that he may have been seen, he makes a hastily exit. Moments later, a man comes in and finds the woman laying dead as well. He then goes to telephone the police.
Fifteen minutes later, Melissa Morgan & Adam Miller arrive at the crime scene with their gloves and kits in hand they then begin to investigate the scene. Moments later, Ann Richards enters and joins them.
"Hey, welcome back." Melissa said with a smile. "Good to be back." Ann replied. "Bring me up to speed." She said. "Victim's name is Rachel Maddox. Art gallery director says she was here late to pick up a valuable piece of art: A self-portrait." Adam stated. "High velocity blood spatter on the wall; Victim is face down; Blood coming out of her nose as well. I'd say the killer did a number on here." Melissa stated. "No signs of a struggle, so it doesn't look like a robbery." Adam stated. "Something's missing though. We got an empty art exhibit here." Ann observed. "Who called it in?" Melissa asked. "Co-director of this gallery. His name is Nathan Adams; Says he was here late to have a business meeting with his partner, then was about to lock up the gallery, before he found the body laying here." Adam stated. "Was he the only other person in the building?" Melissa asked. "Actually no. According to the director, he says he heard, then saw an unknown male in the gallery standing over the body then leave in a really big hurry." Adam stated. "Did the co-director get a good look at him?" Melissa asked. "All he knows is that he was a male and he was dressed in some kind of detective outfit; He swears he's never seen him before and he doesn't work here." Adam replied. "He might know something." Ann stated. "Well, either way, he's in the wind, and this woman's killer is on the loose." Melissa stated. "Murdered in a gallery, Beirut style." Ann stated. "Gives a new definition to "fine art." Melissa quipped.
Two hours later, in an abandoned alley on Adams Blvd., Jack Morgan, George Reynolds, & Jake Smith are called in to investigate an abandoned car and a man found dead in a crate. They glove up and take out their kits to investigate:
"Who called it in?" Jack asked. "Beat cop on patrol doing a night run. He found an abandoned car in this alley, came over to investigate, then found the body in this crate here; That's when he called us in." George stated. "Blood on his pants; He either was shot, stabbed or bludgeoned to death." Jack stated. "Either way you put it, he's dead." Jake stated. "Yep. Somebody wanted to make sure he was "boxed-up." Jack quipped.
So two different murders within a few hours of each other.
These two cases will be major ones for the C.S.I.'s to solve.
The investigation continues on both cases in the next chapter!!!
