It was a normal afternoon, and Cameron was sprawled out on her bed, fully immersed in her favorite K-drama on Netflix. She was laughing uncontrollably, her room filled with the sound of her noise. The female lead had just declared her love for the mysterious secret killer, and Cameron, already knowing the tragic twist, felt a surge of frustration.

As the scene unfolded, Cameron's face went through 10 different emotions. "No! Don't fall for him! You're going to die!" she yelled at the screen. " Without thinking, she grabbed a pillow and hurled it at the door.

Just as her father, Coach Jones, opened the door, the pillow smacked him right in the face, and he stumbled back, blinking in surprise.

"Cameron!" Coach Jones exclaimed, pulling the pillow off his face.

Cameron's eyes widened in shock. "Dad! I didn't see you coming!"

A mischievous grin grew on Coach Jones face as he suddenly threw the pillow back at her with a bit more force. It hit her right on the face, causing her to fall back onto her bed.

"Seriously, Cameron? Why the pillow assault?" he asked, shaking his head.

Cameron picked up the pillow and threw it back onto her bed with a huff. "It's this stupid show Dad! Why do they always have to kill off the best characters?"

Coach Jones chuckled, crossing his arms. "Well, if you're done with your TV drama, I have some real-life news. You've got a team dinner at 8:00 tonight. Don't be late, or I'll welcome you with a fist in the face."

Cameron groaned and flopped onto her bed. "Seriously? Another team dinner? Can't I just stay home and binge-watch my show?"

Coach Jones gave her a pointed look. "Nope. Part of the team, part of the commitment. Be there on time."

As Coach Jones turned to leave, Cameron muttered under her breath, "This is so stupid. I don't want to see those idiots again."

Coach Jones paused and turned back, his eyebrows raised. "What did you say?"

Cameron plastered on her sweetest, most innocent smile. "Nothing, Dad. Just talking to myself."

Coach Jones eyed her suspiciously for a moment, then shrugged. "Alright. Just don't be late."

As he left the room, Cameron sighed in relief and grabbed the remote, trying to get back into her show. She rolled her eyes at the screen, muttering, "Can't a girl just watch her K-dramas in peace?"

After binge-watching half of the K-drama, Cameron decided to go downstairs to grab a snack. As she descended the stairs, still half-absorbed in the plot, she tripped on the last two steps and fell face-first onto the floor with a thud.

Moments later, her mom walked by, stopped, and stared at her sprawled on the floor. "Seriously, Cameron? How did you fall down the stairs?"

Cameron pushed herself up, her face flushed with embarrassment. "Thanks for the concern, Mom," she muttered sarcastically, rubbing her nose.

Her mom couldn't help but laugh. "I mean, really? How do you manage to trip on flat surfaces?"

Cameron groaned, getting to her feet. "Maybe if you didn't keep the house so clean, I wouldn't slip."

Her mom raised an eyebrow. "So, it's my fault now? Maybe you should try paying attention to where you're going instead of living in your TV dramas."

Cameron rolled her eyes. "Maybe if I didn't have to live here, I'd have fewer obstacles in my way."

Her mom crossed her arms, smirking. "Oh, really? And where would you go? You're almost 21 and still living with your parents. How do you think your teammates would react if they knew you can't even make it down the stairs without falling?"
