(A/N: As far as I write, I want to make this story a little bit confusing. Just like me, confused which plot will I write next.
I'm losing my braincells thinking how would the plot flow lol.
(Just sharing even though you don't care hahaha)
Anyways, enjoy. ~ ( •̀ ω •́ ) ~ )

The next day at the agency, I finally found some time to review the autopsy report of my father. The recent workload had kept me too busy to dive into the details, but today, I was determined to find some answers. As I pored over the report, I glanced at the crime scene photos pinned to the agency's whiteboard, trying to piece together the puzzle that had haunted me for years.
Beside me, I noticed Naomi pouting. I couldn't help but laugh. "What's wrong, Naomi?" I asked, amusement evident in my voice.
She sighed dramatically. "I miss my brother. It's been like three hours since the three of them went out to buy Yosano's supplies."
I laughed again, shaking my head. "Three hours. You really counted the time eh?"
Kunikida, who was nearby, overheard our conversation. "But for some reason, they seem to be taking a long time outside?" he remarked, his brow furrowed in concern.
Dazai, never one to miss an opportunity for mischief, chimed in.
"Maybe they're finding me a beautiful woman to double suicide with. And I would be grateful to have Ranpo as my great 'woman picker.' With his keen eye, he can identify who's the woman who is destined to be with me—"
Kunikida, now exuding a terrifying aura, cut him off. "And why would he do that for you?! Even if he's the smartest detective here in the agency, he will not qualify to become your 'woman picker'. AND THAT'S BECAUSE HE'S NOT A LACK-OF-BRAINS LIKE YOU?!"
Naomi and I just gave them a 'there-they-are-again' look.
Just as Kunikida was in the middle of his strict preaching to Dazai, a sudden explosion sounded from outside. Kunikida and I rushed to the window, our eyes widening as we saw a shop down the street engulfed in flames.
"An explosion?!" Kunikida exclaimed.
He turned to Dazai and me. "Y/N, Dazai, we need to go down there and assess the situation—"
Naomi interrupted, her voice trembling as she said Yosano's name. We turned to see Yosano standing at the front door, a confused look on her face.
"What's happening? Was that an explosion I heard when I entered?" she asked.
I nodded. "Yes, we saw a shop on fire."
