Chapter One: Crime Scene

"I hope you like eating sand haha!"

"Don't you know who you're talking to?"

"Such lowly ranked student shouldn't be talking to the Queen's best-friend you know..."

"Don't show yourself again, do you understand?"

As the girl ran restlessly every where while she was drenched by the rain, the city night appeared to be busy as she dodged the cars that almost hit her going into a dark slippery alley. "GET AWAY FROM ME! ALL OF THEM ARE MONSTERS! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT THEIR STUPID MONE-" *crash*"

As the girl laid on the dirty wet ground, she was getting surrounded by her own blood that stained her prestigious school uniform. There in her now loosened grip, was a silver necklace that had a small diamond. After a while, somebody had finally noticed her and ran to her, calling 119 and looking for help as the deceased student laid dead, eyes staring at her school id that an auntie just picked up.

"Kang Hye Won, Cheon Min Class in Jooshin High School..."

*3 months later*

"Wow, Jooshin is really big huh...let's see if i meet someone I like for once..." The new looked around and saw students looking at her disgustly because of her rank in class.

But as she was walking to the principle's office, she saw another girl walk up to her. "Hi there! What's your name?" "My name's Kim Ji Won, or you can call me Liz." "Great! I'm Kim Min Ju, Jung In Class" "Jung In Class?" "Oh right! So there's 4 leveled classes that are in Jooshin High School: Yang Ban, the nobility who have the navy blue ribbon, Jung In, the middle class who have the red ribbon, Sang Min, the commoners who have the yellow ribbon, and Cheon Min, the poverty who have the white ribbon." "Oh...how do I know which one I'm in?" "It tells you on your schedule, but usually you would know how much money your family has." "Oh okay, so I'm probably in the Cheon Min Class then.." "It's okay, but I must warn you to never mess with the Royalties, especially the Top 4 students." "Why...?" Min Ju looked around and whispered in my ear. "Those 4 Royalties are no good, they're monsters with money and lies. This school might be a regulars prestigious school but actually, it's the school of money and blood..." "Oh..why are they called monsters...?" "Because not only they are bullies but they are also Chaebols, who some are from one of the biggest companies that their family owns. Once you go to the event that's being held for the anniversary, you'll know who these monsters are just by the looks of their wealth."

"Hm...I'll make sure to stay away from them but, we should go get my schedule now." Min Ju nodded and both girls headed to get Liz's classes.

"Good morning Ms. Han"

"Good morning class, please get out your textbook and can I have Jang Won Young read the first small section of the story?"

"As the winter wind blew against my face,
It felt as cool as when you caressed my cheek with your finger."

"Thank you for that Jang Won Young, you may sit down now. So, how do you think the girl felt as she reminisced about her lover?" After the teacher asked, a boy lifted his hand up. "It could mean that she was reminiscing about the past after breaking up with her lover. She started missing the way he showed his live to her." "That's a very good answer, well that's all for today class."

As the teacher left the high-level class, the students closed their English textbooks.

Jang Won Young, Park Sung Hoon, Sim Jae Yun, and An Yu Jin. The Top 4 students of Jooshin High School. "Won Young ah, is that a new brooch?" "Yeah" "Oh.." Won Young looked at her with her eyes narrowed as she noticed that her best-friend was acting weird. "Why?" "Well...the new Cheon Min is wearing same extract brooch.." Won Young straightened her back as she frowned. "New Cheon Min?" "Yeah..." As Won Young stared at Yu Jin, another best-friend decided to break the tension. "At least yours is prettier and shines Won Young ah." She glared at him and stood up, walking out of the dark classroom in anger. Yu Jin then glared at Jake who smiled sheepishly.

She sighed and followed Won Young who was already far away as she finished packing her bag. Sung Hoon and Jake then followed after as they didn't want to see their best-friend being in a bad mood.

"Won Young! Wait up!" As Yu Jin ran up to Won Young, she almost bumped into her when Won Young turned around quickly. "You said she's new?" "Uh yeah?" "What color is she wearing?" "White, she's a Cheon Min" As the two navy blue ribbon students walked to find Liz, they at last had finally found her. Yu Jin looked at Won Young who had an unreadable expression. "Come on" They then went to Liz, who was already looking at them. "H-Hi...I'm Liz-" "Go somewhere else" "Excuse me...?" "Transfer to another school, you don't belong here. This isn't a place that will keep you safe." Liz was left shocked and in disbelief as Won Young left her after giving her that first impression with Yu Jin following her behind her back.

*After school*

"Jang Won Young"

"Yes father?" "Let me see your report card" She gave him her report card, not able to read his expressions as she didn't know what her grades were. She then let out her breath she didn't know she was holding when he placed the file down gently, meaning that she had made him proud. "Good job, now go to your room." She got up from the chair and headed out the door to bedroom, not forgetting to bow to him first and then leaving. "Good night father..."
