Chapter 8 : Sneak Out

Luna's Point of View...

November came and it was a gloomy evening. Were in the cemetery where Bert is. Kasama ko nagyon si Eli, Marvin, Zeb and his brother James. I don't know bakit andito si James pero sabi niya samin, si Zeb daw nag aya sa kanya na sumama and he tag along, di naman daw niya alam na dito ang punta.

Wala na sila Tita Rona dito, kami na lang mag kakaibigan. It was also raining at lahat kami tahimik lang sa loob. Nakwento rin samin ni Tita Ron a na baka sa canda na siya mag pasko at bagong taon, we said na it was good for her since magisa na lang si Tita, we also offered na ihatid siya sa airport at mag sabi samin kung kelan alis niya and she happily accepted it.

"It's getting colder and darker, we should get going, may pasok pa kayo bukas" Marvin said saka kami lumabas sa puntod ni Bert. If only we could tell Marvin, Zeb, Gelo and Alex about the truth behind Bert's death.

We'll seek justice for this. I won't let this slide. Lalo na ngayong may evidence na kaming hawak against Sandra.

I don't know what's her deal for doing all of this at kung bakit nag papatuta siya kay Sandra. What I'm sure of is wala na sa tamang pag iisip yan.

"Hey, you okay? Kanina ka pa tahimik" kalabit ni Eli sakin at tumango naman ako.

"Are you sure?" She asked again at tumango naman ako. Eli bought her car at sa kanya ako nakasakay kanina, Zeb and James ay magkasama rin and si Marvin naman magisa lang din.

"Let's go to my place, need to show you something" sabi niya at tumango naman ako saka kami humiwalay dun sa tatlong lalaki. They wave us goodbye bago kami maka alis.

I thought Eli will take me in her unit pero andito kami sa village. Umakyat naman kami ng kwarto niya at nagulat ako sa nakita ko, halos wala ng laman yung loob. Even her drawers are empty.

"Since when did you packed your things?" I asked her as i sat on her bed, she was searching her room for something I don't know, baka yun yung ipapakita niya sakin.

"Told you, ibebenta na yung bahay, kaya nag bawas na ako ng gamit. Nasa unit ko na halos lahat" she said as she murmured something, di ko agad siya narinig.

After searching for like 5 minutes may iniharap naman siyang box sa harap ko. And when she opened it, It reveals a laptop and a book, a vintage book to be exact.

"What's that? Ninakaw mo ba yan?" I asked her and she gave me dirty looks kaya natawa ako

"No idiot, i got it from the stalker. Kasama nito yung teddy bear. I tried to open this laptop pero may password. And I don't want to ask anyone for help. I want us to do this alone. Kinda dangerous but I'll take risks."

"And this, diary siya and its locked, walang key na attached, ilang beses ko nang nitry sirain pero ayaw. Steel yung cover that's why it's kinda heavy" she said as she handed me the diary and oo nga, ang bigat.

"Where's the key you found in Kurt's room?" She asked kaya inalala ko.

"It got stolen from me one night, nung andito ako sa village" sabi ko and I can see the disappointment in her eyes.

"Pero naalala ko, nung wala pa akong maaalala, may ibinigay na key necklae si Azirel sakin, sabi niya bigay ko daw kay James, and binigay ko naman kay James, we could ask James for the key" sabi ko pero mukhang wala talagang balak si Eli mag-ask ng help sa mga kaibigan namin.

"Alam ko magkasama si Zeb at James, we can snuck into his room" suggests niya pero di ako pumayag.

"Di uuwi si James ng unit niya sa Athena, magandang chance yun" Dagdag pa niya pero di talaga ao pumayag.
