He doesn't recognize any of them from where he stands, but they're clearly not from around here. As they go inside, he steps a little closer. He recognizes the last person to enter. Daisy, the princess of the Dark kingdom. He quickly rushes back to his earlier hiding space as Daisy starts looking around. After she finally enters the building, he cautiously makes his way to the door. He waits until he hears the footsteps going upstairs before entering through the unlocked door.
Liam looks around on the ground floor. It's completely empty, with only one room on the right side. Knowing that the room is empty from checking the window before, Liam wasted no time to further investigate by going upstairs. He stoped not too far away from the top and decided to listen to what is . He didn't recognize the voices speaking. He did recognize his father's once he spoke. Liam's eyes widened as he heared princess Daisy call his dad her uncle. He takes a peek to see what's going on. Daisy is...hugging his dad? Since when is Daisy capable of displaying any sense of , Liam thinks to himself as he watches her with narrowed eyes.
"Daisy! It's been so long since the last time I saw you!", his dad says in a joyous tone.
"It's been forever", Daisy says quietly.
"How have you been?", his dad asks in a soft tone.
"I've been better, I've been worse", Daisy says nonchalantly.
"How about you Samantha?", he asks while his eyes sparkle with joy.
The woman his dad was referring to just glares at him, umipressed.
"What's wrong? I promise I was going to clean up! Or is it because I didn't ask you first?", his dad asks with a frown.
Samantha sighs before answering. "A frown doesn't suit you." She slowly walks up to him as she speaks. Once right in front of him, she cups his cheek in her hands and brushes it with her thumb. His dad leans into the contact and smiles with contentment.
"I've missed you", Samantha says softly, a smile also forming on her face.
Liam narrows his eyes at the woman. He shifts his focus to the others. Princess Annie stares in shock with her jaw dropped at both the woman and his dad. Prince Ashton has a digusted look on his face. Queen Marie drops her gaze to her shoes uncomfortably. Liam slowly makes his way up the rest of the stairs, ready to confront his dad and finally get the truth. He stops dead in his tracks as he sees a little girl runs towards his dad and clutches his trousers. The little girl had the same dark green hair as Samantha, and the same golden yellow eyes as his dad.
