PART. 22

Today was the last night of the trip and everyone was going to return tomorrow morning.  Everyone had finished their dinner and had lit a fire and were sitting around it. Like Routeen we were playing today also but today the game was truth and dare.  It was everyone's turn and instead of dare everyone chose truth more. But Abhi's turn not came yet.

It was late night and abhi still did not want to wait for his turn. And even if his turn came, he was going to choose dare only. He got the game over and said that he wanted to do something special without coming my turn.

Everyone said yes at the excitement and Abhi turned towards Imlie and took one of her hands in his.

Imlie.  I know we are good friends. or Please don’t take my words too seriously, I want to say something small.     ......abhi said.

Imlie shook her eyelashes and said yes, say whatever you want to say. But Imlie's heart started beating faster. She knew that Abhi was going to propose to her.

I am starting to feel for you, imlie. I don't know how or when this happened, but it happened, I love you Imlie. Will you become my girlfriend?        ..........Abhi said it.

All students hooting. Or they say, say yes, say yes, imlie.

Imlie became nervous. She was not able to understand what to say. For the first time someone had proposed to her in this manner. And Abhi was her friend, she did not want to break his heart. Imlie got lost in this confusion, where should she tell him. She cannot break his heart in front of everyone. But she can make him understand alone.

Imlie came out of the confusion and took deep breath.

I am already your girlfriend. Meaning, I am a girl or a friend.  So i became your girlfriend. There is no need to make a girlfriend in a different way. Right.        ......imlie said.

Abhi was a little confused by what Imlie said but he said yes that yes you are already my girlfriend.  Abhi smiles and Imlie also hugs him by smiling.  Then everyone goes to sleep in their tent house.

On the other hand, Aryan also got the news that Abhi has proposed to his wife in front of everyone. He felt like going there and killing him right now. But his informer told him that Imlie mam has given such answer.

Aryan calms down a bit after hearing Imlie's reply. So he cancels his plan to go there. But he was very angry with abhi right now and most of all he was angry with Imlie. How did Imlie even let him think like this. How did Imlie get close to him and he thought of making my wife his girlfriend.

Aryan was fuming with anger after thinking all this. He fell asleep while thinking about many other things.

Next morning, Aryan did not feel like going to office at all because Imli was coming back today. He was yearning to see her, so he wanted to stay at home and wait for her. But then he thought that there is no work at home so time will not pass quickly, so I will go to office and Imlie will come by night anyway.   Then Aryan went to the office.

Imlie and everyone else also leave from there as soon as it is morning. Imlie had become silent after Abhi's proposal. SHe could not understand what she should do.

On one hand she had a husband and loved him, but she never got love from him and she did not know whether she would ever get it or not.    And on the other hand, she had a friend, she will never love him nor will she be able to do it. But she will get love from him, sHe will get the right of a wife, she will get the right of becoming a mother.

But her heart was going towards Aryan and her mind towards Abhi.  She got caught in the confusion. 

Imlie came home at 12 in the night, Aryan was in the hall and was waiting for her. But Imlie was tired both physically and mentally. Because she was looking for solution all the way.  If she sees Aryan's contract then what will happen to her own happiness. And if she sees her happiness then she is still not happy because she will still not get her love even if her dreams get fulfilled.

Her longing which she has since childhood to touch Aryan, to hug him, to kiss him, to sleep with him will never be fulfilled,

Imlie goes to her room entangled in her own confusion. That's when her eyes fall on Aryan. She got a little confused as to why Aryan was sleeping in the hall. Imli kept her bag aside and brought a sheet and covered Aryan.

As soon as she turned, Aryan caught her hand.

Aa gyi tum.        .....Aryan said happily.

But when the aryan caught her hand, Imlie felt a shock. Imlie felt his touch for the first time.

Han, aa gyi, hath chodo Mera,        .....imlie said.

Aryan let go of her hand and quickly got up and turned on the lights to look at her.  Imlie's face was dull and she was very tired. As soon as Aryan saw hee, when  the light turned on, he was shocked.  How can a girl who talks so much be dull?

Aryan caught her by both the arms and asked what happened. You are worried.       ..........he asked worriedly.

Kya kar rahe ho. Tum gande ho jaoge. Chodo mujhe.  I am not branded.      .......Imlie said getting irritated.

She was tired and wanted to rest but Aryan woke up. And she had to stay.

Main thak gyi hu. Or neend bhi aa rahi hai. I don't have the power to fight.      ......Imlie said this and went into the room.

Aryan remained silent and became worried about what happened to Imlie. Then he thought that maybe she is tired and that is why she is behaving like this.

Then,  while smiling, he lifted the sheet which  imlie had placed on him. And he went to his room and slept.
