She is a human and has grown up on planet earth with her childhood best friend Gary Goodspeed.
Later in her young adult life she takes an opportunity to go into space.
But unfortunately for her, she ends up...

Y/n's pov:
We're all standing in the control room, looking out the window, seeing hundreds of enemy ships. As we get closer Gary speaks up.
"We might not make it out of this. I wanted to say... I don't know what we are. A crew? Feels like we're more than that, I mean, friends maybe. But too me we become like a close but very strange family. And without you, I wouldn't be me."
I give him a light smile before KVN dives in and starts shaking Gary, while saying 'Us' over and over.
"Shut the hell up KVN!" Gary yells and pushes him of. "I will never leave you Gary! I will be your deep space insanity avoidance forever companion." KVN says like he's trying to reassure Gary.
"I swear to god KVN!! Anyways, whatever happens, wherever we go, we find each other when this is over. Deal?" Gary says getting back on track as he looks around the room.
"Hell yes." I say giving Gary a light smile as I give Little Cato a side hug. The rest of the group are mixed with encouraging smiles and worried looks for what's about to happen.
We stand there for a moment, mentally preparing ourselves before getting to work.
Gary, Quinn and I are standing by the 'main table' trying to figure out how we might have a slight chance. After a little back and forth, HUE chips in saying we can inject our light fouled engine. We all share a look before going for it.
The light fouled engine shoots out in front of us. We watch closely as it fly's forward, getting closer and closer to the Lord Commanders ship before it explodes.
The explosion destroys almost all of the smaller ships. We quickly take the chance to move forward towards the breath.
As we get closer, we see something pouring out of the Lord Commander's ship. Hundreds and hundreds of small robotic machines heading right towards us.
Just before they reach us HUE manage to activate the shield just in time. The hive of killer robots starts covering around the shield, trapping us inside with nowhere to go. HUE starts counting down the shields percentage as we try to come up with a plan.
As the hive starts to break through the shield KVN and Mooncake go outside the ship to take down as meany as they can. Little Cato, the SAMES and I get into separate ships to make a clearing for Quinn to deliver the bomb.
I can see the SAMES dying off one by one before Tribore shows up with the resistance and we manage to shoot down a lot of hive.
Tribore's ship eventually takes a damaging hit, making him fly of course. Before I can react, I see Little Cato ejecting himself from his ship, heading straight towards the Lord Commander's ship.
I try to follow after him but is unable to when a bunch of hive robots block my way and starting to attack my ship, making me have to fight them off. Thay and up ripping up my ship, making me have to eject from it just before I see it explode before me. "Holy shit..."
The hive then suddenly starts heading back to the Lord Commander's ship, and a giant canon like thing appears from the top of the ship.
A yellow beam shot's out, straight towards Mooncake and starts pulling him in. Me being out in open space, without a ship, I have no other choice then to just watch it all happen.
