Taehyung's heart beats were already running a marathon and it quickened more as he saw his grandmother coming near them.

He looked at jungkook with pleading eyes , but it didn't even make the vampire budge from his place. Taehyung loves his grandma a lot , he can not even imagine his grandma in any dangerous situations.

The footsteps came near and near, taehyung was utterly terrified at this point, he wasn't able to protect himself then how he will protect his only loved one.

Taehyung's grandma came behind him and kept her hand on taehyung's shoulder, gesturing him to look at her.  Taehyung flinched and turned around, not forgetting to hide jungkook behind his frame.

He don't want his grandma to get scared by looking at the vampire's fangs and his bloodshot red sparkling eyes. He internally prayed for his and his grandma's safety.

"What's wrong Taebear, I called you a few times , but you didn't respond. " taehyung's grandma said and caressed his cheeks lovingly.

"N-Nothing g-grandma " taehyung stuttered a little trying to compose himself. Taehyung's grandma frowned and caressed taehyung's forehead.

"Why are you sweating bear ?" His grandma asked,  taehyung himself didn't know he was sweating, he immediately ran his hand on his forehead and swiped it clean.

"Ah N-Nothing g-grandma I just ran a l-little" taehyung smiled nervously and tried covering up with his weak lying skills.

" - okay let's go inside " taehyung's grandma said and held his hand ready to pull him in the house with her.

"Oh who is there with you ?" Grandma asked, now taehyung was like why this earth hadn't swallowed him until now.
He started sweating badly. Now he can't back off when his grandma has clearly seen someone behind him.

"I'm his friend grandma" jungkook said out suddenly making taehyung head turn at a speed of light, the cracking sound of his bone was loud that jungkook and taehyung's grandma had to look at him with worry filled eyes.

Taehyung saw how jungkook is now looking like a normal human being.  His fangs were no longer seen it looked like normal humans teeth with two bunny teeth poking on his lips, and his eyes turned into dark brown orbs or we can say black.
Taehyung mentally thanked jungkook for not showing his real self.

"Oh dear , I didn't saw you before with taehyung " grandma asked looking at both jungkook and taehyung. Taehyung felt his tongue tied suddenly. He don't know what to answer now.

"I'm a transferred student grandma, and taehyung is my first friend in university." Jungkook said answering grandma's question, eyeing taehyung with a sweet smile on his face.

"You brat why didn't you tell me about him huh?" Taehyung's grandma asked while pinching taehyung's bread cheeks making  Taehyung whimper dramatically.

"He just joined today only grandma ~ah " taehyung said and freed his cheek from his grandma's sweet hold. His grandma nodded.

"What's your name dear ?" Grandma asked the boy standing beside taehyung,
"Jungkook, Jeon jungkook " jungkook answered with confidence and pride flooding through his words .

"Grandma it's g-getting late , he needs to go to his home too" taehyung said wanting jungkook to leave as soon as possible. Taehyung may be showing he's unbothered but his insides were shaking with negative thoughts and scenarios.

"Oh son, you accompanied taehyung?" Grandma asked jungkook, who nodded  at her words.

"Yes grandma" jungkook replied almost immediately .
